I am friendly, positive and always encourage people to work harder in order to get the best results possible! I'll explain things in simpler terms, and will use videos and drawings to help explain. I'll organise topics into smaller chunks and help you plan practice essays in order to make a heavy workload seem manageable. I am hardworking and will adapt to any exam board and specification and teach any books that you need me to. I will always go the extra mile to make sure a student feels confident and satisfied with their learning by giving you many resources to use outside of lessons. I hope to teach some of you soon!

Throughout university I have consistently achieved First Class marks in assignments, with some upper 2:1 level. Due to the ongoing marking boycott, I am yet to receive my final degree classification, however it is confirmed that I have guaranteed an upper 2:1.
At GCSE, I achieved full marks in 4 of the English Literature questions, and was in the highest www.*** of the country for English Literature. The rest of my grades consist of an 8, 4A*s, 2As, 1B.
I was offerd a place to study English Literature and Education Studies at Cambridge University (2020), however due to personal reasons I had to release this offer and defer. I instead studied a year later at Durham University, an extremely selective, world top university with extremely high standard teaching.
I will be commencing my Masters degree in Law at the University of Law next year.
I am dedicated and hard working, and my experience with tutoring, mentoring and as a teaching assistant means I am well experienced in adapting to different learning styles. I understand the importance of patience and adaptability when it comes to working with students of all ages, and I very much look forward to working with tuttees and their parents to ensure you get the most out of these sessions.

My name is Holly and I'm an 18 year old tutor currently on a gap year!
Although I do not have any experience tutoring I have work experience in nurseries and helping run a youth club and have a strong passion for teaching children of all ages.
I will create a relaxed session, aiming to allow students to feel comfortable to ask questions and ensure they feel more confident in the subject. I will adapt my teaching style depending on the client as I understand that everyone learns differently, whether this be incorporating interactive techniques such as whiteboards or reading and writing techniques.
I have knowledge of Primary, GCSE and A Level curriculums with a mixture of exam boards.
I am hoping to gain experience in tutoring in order to prepare for a teaching career in the future. Teaching has always been my dream and is truly what I love.

English Literature Tutor, Teacher
Hi there!
I am a qualified English Literature and Language teacher and Teach First ambassador, specialising in secondary schools (years 7-13), since 2012, and prep schools (years 4-8) since 2018. I also teach mathematics up to and including Upper KS2: Long Division, Common Factors, Common Multiples, Prime Numbers, Mental Calculations, Square and Cube Numbers and more for that Key Stage.
I have been tutoring one-to-one since 2015 and found, since the 2020 lockdown, that tutoring online can be just as beneficial if not better for several reasons: no travel for either party; shared resources online rather than requiring a printer, therefore saving paper; allowance for different ways of communicating rather than just speech - for example, silent discussions through typed notes that can be edited, saved and stored immediately - which is especially beneficial for students with speech impairments or those who communicate better through writing.
I have been working for a home-education group in the woods near to where I live since September 2019 and have continued to learn and explore the importance of creativity, immersion in a task and a level of autonomy on a student's learning path. I aim to reproduce what I have learnt in my years of experience to offer online tutoring lessons for both individuals and groups.
My experience spans from working in one of the most poverty-stricken provinces in Buenos Aires in 2010 as an English tutor for disadvantaged children, to working as the private tutor for my school's Sheikh's son in Qatar during my three years working in a British international school out there. (2015-2018.) I am interested in all people from all walks of life and all educational backgrounds.
If you think I could help you / your child in their education, please get in touch. I am also a writer and assistant reader for Firewords magazine in my spare time. My subject is my life.
Please contact me directly at ***@*** for a free first lesson! I look forward to hearing from you.

GCSE Maths is key to passing for the majority of students in secondary school and to attain high achieving grades, some students may require an added boost. From my previous expertise shown by my top grade in this specific subject, with my classes I am able to support your child from any range of topics to how to deal with the exam formats.
About Me
I consider myself a GCSE high achiever with a passion for mathematics, and am poised for success in my upcoming A Levels where I am predicted A*s in Maths and Further Maths. Diligent and patient, I'm a dedicated maths tutor committed to fostering a deep understanding, critical thinking, and confidence in my students so that they may succeed at GCSE maths and perhaps further beyond.
Education
I’ve spent my years 7-11 at Wimbledon College where I completed my GCSEs and managed to receive eight 9s (A**) and two 8s (A*), where Maths was my highest achieving award. This overall result put me at the top of my year group and guaranteed myself a place at Sutton Grammar School Sixth Form. Currently I am working towards my predicted grades of 3A*s, including Maths and Further Maths, where I am due to sit my A Levels in the summer term of 2024.
Experience / Qualifications
I have completed Maths mentoring and tutoring for a small company in Wimbledon where younger children were taught the basics of adding, subtracting etc., whilst at the older end (11-14 years old), I have been able to guide students through topics such as algebra. - Oxfam Volunteer - KFC Front Of House - Waiter at Mimi e Coco
