Music is for all ages, I teach Beginners Clarinet and Saxophone. I have a Grade 7 in Classical Clarinet and am currently studying for my Grade 8. I also hold my Grade 5 Jazz Saxophone and am working towards Grade 6 and my Grade 5 Theory.
I am an audio engineer and guitarist, with over four years of experience teaching. I believe the best approach to teaching is that the student should always leave the lesson having a good understanding of what was taught in the session.
I am a freelance guitarist based in London, and have just finished studying a BA(hons) Degree in Music Industry Practice at the Academy of contemporary music (ACM). I've played many gigs, from small scale productions, to corporate functions and events. I have also worked with numerous artists in studio and live settings, playing in venues up and down the country. With this first-hand industry experience I can provide the most relevant and practical skills to any of my music students.
I cater my lessons to each of my students! From learning songs via ear, to understanding music theory and Instrument technique, I believe guitar playing should be a fun and gratifying. Toby L. is a professional Jazz Saxophonist who recently finished his undergraduate degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. Most notably, Toby has performed as an independent artist at famous venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, Oliver’s Jazz Club, The Barbican Centre, Pizza Express Live, London EFG jazz festival and with ensembles such as the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Showtime Orchestra, Guildhall Jazz Orchestra and the Guildhall Big Band. Toby has taken his ensemble, Cyclone, across London and the UK hosting multiple jam sessions and events. Bringing Jazz to a younger audience through experimentation and fat backbeats, Toby is helping pave the way for a youth jazz revolution.

VIOLIN LESSONS:
My violin lessons are for anyone, no matter how young or old, who wants to learn to play the violin within the context of folk, pop, or rock. We will look at classical violin technique to ensure safety whilst playing, as well as how to read music and music theory. We will look at folk, pop, or rock repertoire, and at the techniques that can be used to make these genres come alive on the violin.
MUSIC PRODUCTION LESSONS:
At its simplest, music production is the careful creative process of capturing and showcasing the raw recordings of a track, arranging them in the sonic sphere in such a way that a listener can truly connect with the artist's intention. More complexly, it can build an intriguing world of sound around the core songwriting/compositional elements. I teach my students how to use music production software and how to put sounds together, leading through to creating fully recorded, produced, mixed and mastered music projects.
COMPOSITION/SONGWRITING/FILM SCORING LESSONS:
Have you ever wanted to write your own pieces of music? Are you looking for feedback on your work? My lessons are for anyone who wants to study the art of songwriting, composition, or film scoring. Sessions will be presented in a supportive way through constructive discussion, practical tasks, worksheets, and writing sessions.

I am Marty, I am the Owner/Director and one of the tutors at Double M Studios.
I decided to launch DMS due to the passion I have for music and to make it a platform to be able to offer opportunities to students and adult learners that they may not be able to get anywhere else.
Music has been part of my life for a very long time. I was lucky enough to have two of the most amazing guitar tutors that anybody could have asked for. One of which became a very big inspiration for what I am doing now.

My name is Pouneh. I'm a guitarist, film composer, and music teacher :) I graduated with a Master's and a bachelor's degree in "Classical Guitar Performance" and "Music Composition". I have been teaching music for more than twenty years. I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals and try to make the learning experience as fun and enjoyable as possible.
I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Performing classical Guitar from the University of Tehran and also I earned a Master's degree in Composition for Film and Media from Pulse College Dublin.
