I am a highly experienced and enthusiastic tutor to students up to 18 years of age with a Masters in Education and responsibility for tutoring and assessing newly qualified teachers. I have taught in schools as a senior leader for over 20 years and have been an examiner for the Edexcel and AQA exam boards for over 15 years. I pride myself in delivering personalised learning programmes to all of my students and ensure that all work completed is awarded with the highest level of written and verbal feedback. Hello! I'm Daisy and I'm a postgraduate student at King's College London and tutor up to A-level. I have a BSc in mathematics from the University of Nottingham.
I've been tutoring for 5 years including a year full time. I've delivered over 2000 hours of online lessons and many face-to-face.
In my lessons I focus on clear explanations and aim to make maths more approachable, especially to those who have struggled or felt less confident in school.

Lesson structure varies but we will always have a recap of related topics that we may be building on the lesson, examples and explanation as needed and a focus on practice questions. If you are preparing for an exam we will also look at exam technique. I would usually recommend that we focus on one topic at a time and take time to really get the hang of it, rather than rush through lots of content that is difficult to retain.
I always check my lesson content against the national curriculum and/or relevant exam syllabus.

My name is Akshar. I graduated with a First-Class Biomedical Science from King’s College London. I recently graduated with a Master's in Physician Associate Studies from St. Georges University London. Additionally, I serve as an examiner, responsible for marking and providing feedback during the summer examination series. I aspire to become a competent clinician, working in both A&E and General Practice. Learning new concepts has piqued my interest even further. Therefore, I want to share my knowledge with other students so that new discoveries in the contours of medicine and other subjects can be made.
I achieved A*A*A in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and an A in Mathematics, despite being predicted D and E.
