Mathematics, English, French and Romanian for any age. And all the support you need in primary school to be more confident and develop your skills and learning techniques. I can work simultaneously with siblings of different ages. School is fun at home!!!
For over twenty years I was an English/French teacher to students between the ages of 3 to 19.
I also have over thirty years of experience in teaching English, French, Romanian, Mathematics and Physics in private. The objectives varied from reaching higher level of achievement (facilitating the admission to elite schools, higher educational programs or award of scholarships) to getting better school results, feeling more confident, developping academic and social skills.
For five years I had a successful afterschool program with children of ages between 3 and 12. I supported them to do their homework, taught drama, English, French and German, we did a lot of crafts and art activities, cooking, writing and creative playing.

Hello,
I have been a teacher since 2008 when I gained my PGCE, specialising in Early Years (5-11). I then went on to get my Masters in Education. For the last twelve years I have taught over a range of year groups and enjoy the challenge that teaching brings. I have had experience of tutoring Year 5 and 6 children with good results. I love the one to one teaching experience with children and know that I can make a difference to those children needing just a bit more support at this difficult time. I have a further DBS on the update service. Please contact me via my facebook page or call me for more details.
I hope to hear from you soon,
Jo

I am a qualified teacher, and spent 6 years in the classroom, 5 of which were as a Head of Department. I have a passion for helping others to succeed, and understand that my success and - more importantly - that of my students are fully aligned. I take a positive approach to tuition, always looking to relate difficult concepts to real world scenarios to bring them to life and show how they can be applied. I also have a decade of industry experience in professional services which allows me to provide real world examples to problems and questions.
I have been tutoring since my university days in 2006, and have a track record of helping students to achieve or exceed their target grades in the GCSE and A- Level exams.
Every student is different with their own learning styles - I adapt to the needs of the individual student. Always taking a positive approach, I work in a collaborative way with students so that they achieve their potential and feel a sense of accomplishment. Sometimes large topics or difficult concepts just need broken down into smaller steps or component parts - by taking each at a time, students will build up their knowledge and develop confidence to tackle any questions by following a methodical approach.
Work with me to build your knowledge, develop in confidence and get ready to smash your exams!

Since September 2018, I've been on an inspiring journey as an A-Levels and IGCSE Physics and Mathematics tutor. My role goes beyond teaching – it's about mentoring and empowering students for their final exams, leading to remarkable results with a 30% average performance boost across all modules.
My forte lies in simplifying complex concepts through exceptional communication skills, ensuring that students grasp even the most challenging material with ease. I believe in creating a dynamic and enjoyable learning environment that fosters a true passion for knowledge.
Recognizing that each student is unique, I tailor my tutoring techniques to their individual needs, irrespective of age or background. This personalized approach is essential to enhancing their comprehension and academic growth.
My journey is not just about teaching; it's about guiding and inspiring, igniting the flame of curiosity, and helping students reach their full potential. Witnessing their success and flourishing is my greatest reward, and I'm committed to their academic development as they embark on a bright future.

I am a professional woman who has spent my career in a range of marketing roles, both in the US and the UK. I have friends who are teachers and they have told me to inquire about possible tutoring roles as there are many children/young adults that are in need of 1:1 support - particularly since the pademic. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Marketing but am very good with maths. I believe that my age, experience and understanding would lend itself well to becoming a tutor.
