With over 15 years of experience in teaching, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. I've had the privilege of working in specialist schools where I honed my skills in catering to diverse learning needs. I have extensive experience working with children who have various learning difficulties, such as developmental language disorder, ADHD, autism, anxiety, social emotional and mental health needs, auditory processing needs, disordered attachment, and working memory problems. Understanding the unique requirements of each child is of utmost importance to me, and I tailor my teaching methods accordingly.

I was a teachfor over 26 years in Primary Schools so fully up to date with the curriculum and standards. I have worked in all the Primary years but my expertise is in KS2. I have worked in challenging schools and taught many children with SEND. I have worked successfully for many years in Y5 & 6 to ensure they are ready for their SATs, so have an in depth knowledge of UKS2 curriculum and requirements. Over the last year, I have taught many overseas students online for both Maths and English, helping them improve their spoken and written English and preparing them for 11+ entrance exams. Hello! I am a friendly, fun and dynamic tutor, ensuring that my lessons are bespoke to the needs of your child. All my tutoring is currently one to one, however, I am exploring the group tuition options. I tutor purely online, creating an immersive learning environment for your child to truly thrive. The lesson is run through Zoom to ensure that your child can see me and I can see them throughout the lesson. I use some whiteboard features for explaining concepts and I also use a programme to ensure that a range of interactive activities can be accessed by your child to progress learning. I am able to see everything that your child is doing on the screen, meaning I am able to keep them on track, identify misconceptions and progress their learning as they require it.
I am a fully qualified teacher, with experience in the classroom. Teaching in both Wales and England I am able to teach to both curriculums effectively and efficiently. With an in depth understanding of the requirements of both learning environments. Prior to teaching in a school environment I taught a variety of age ranges within the museum sector, accumulating an additional 4 years teaching experience. I have a Diploma in SEN Teaching, alongside classroom experiences working alongside children with ADHD and ASD, dyslexia and speech and communication delay, along with supporting children with mental health concerns.
In addition, I have experience of working with children to build upon their confidence, breaking down the negative relationship they may have with maths and rebuilding it in a positive manner. I am passionate about my subject and have plenty of tips and tricks to help your child succeed.
This is particularly successful in developing your child's confidence and skills at GCSE. Results day 2024 saw my students have 100% pass rate with Grade 4s or above. Many of my students improved by 2 or more grades by their exams.

I am experienced in my instruments and so far have taught trumpet and maths so I have experience in teaching children. I have an A* mathematics A-level and completed two years of mathematics at Cardiff University before I decided to pursue music further instead. I am a lover of Education and child care. I have been in the teaching and Educational Sector since 1996 when I first worked into a primary school to give a social support to a growing school for 6months. The School Was Known as Veritas Primary and Secondary School.
Ever since then, my love and commitment for academics and tutoring has no bounds, particularly for Pupils, teenage and High School students.
I have taught both physically and virtually for almost two decades.
My Majors are in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Basic Science for Junior secondary students.

I am happy to tutor individuals or small groups who are keen to improve their skills at GCSE or A-level / IB. I have many years experience of teaching in schools and colleges, and also of tutoring individuals to help them achieve their academic potential. My teaching subjects are Maths, Physics and Computer Science, and I have also been an examiner for Physics and Computer Science which gives a good insight into exam questions and the method of answering them.
As an academic science and maths tutor I have over 10 years teaching and tutoring experience. I currently teach science part time at a high school in Wales, which allows me to keep up-to-date with the ongoing changes with the National Curriculum. I teach biology, chemistry and physics to GCSE level and maths at key stage 2 and 3.
All tutoring is done online, I use Google Meets and Google Classroom to teach all my online students. Google Meets allows us to chat face to face via video link and also alows me to share my screen and whiteboard. Google Classroom alows me to set homework or assignments and provide my students with feedback and additional resources they would not ususally get with a regular tutoring session. Each student will have their own login for Google Classroom and resources will be tailored and personal to them.
Many of my students work on developing their knowledge and confidence at GCSE level or boosting their understanding of maths at key stage 2 and 3. I also teach exam preparation and intensive revision sessions during exam periods. In addition I currently have a number of students who are preparing for high school. I work with these students in developing their confidence and resiliance to ensure that their high school fears are allieviated.
Due to current pandemic I have reduced the cost of all tutoring sessions to £20.
