I believe it is critical to grasp the fundamental concepts, and I instil the skill of linking to real-world situations while addressing numerical problems in my students. I know how to come up with amusing examples to practise with. I am a doctorate (PhD) in Environmental Engineering and have a strong interest in remote sensing, geographic information systems, and programming. Photographing, watching movies, and playing cricket are some of my favourite pastimes.
I specialise in GCSE and A-level Maths and Physics. I am, nevertheless, delighted to teach Programming (Matlab and R). I have over 300 hours of online tutoring experience and a 100% success rate. I develop strong bonds with students and share their enthusiasm for the session.
Learning and teaching are two of my favourite things to do. I use multimedia, creative approaches and innovative ideas to convey concepts and improve students understanding. I have access to a wealth of reference books and exam questions to help prepare for examinations and revision techniques. I enjoy using my online whiteboard and scanned resources-packs of exam board-specific past paper questions plus my own questions arranged by www.*** ;
I teach what a particular student needs, such as reinforcing what they learnt in class that week, revising for tests and mock exams, teaching specific topics as needed, and educating private applicants. I invite students to suggest topics for that lesson on their own initiative. I develop strong bonds with students and share their enthusiasm for the session. I have always received very good feedback, as I believe in explaining the basics to students in an easy and friendly manner.

Beeston Fields Primary school was originally built in 1931 and began as two schools, an Infant and Junior. These amalgamated in April 2001 to form the new school of Beeston Fields Primary and Nursery School and in September 2015 we became an academy joining the Flying High Trust Partnership.
We have a purpose built Foundation Stage Unit where both F1 and F2 children play and learn. Main school has two classes per year group, each classroom is well resourced and include interactive whiteboards to engage the children in their learning. Our period building has many small areas to allow 1:2:1 and small group activities to take place away from the distractions of the main classroom; each Key Stage has a 'hub' with resources appropriate to their age ranges.
Our two halls provide us space for our assemblies, physical education, dining, clubs, performances and other community events. Our bright school library provides an attractive space for the children to foster a love of books and reading. We are pleased that with regular investment we are able to provide lots of engaging and interesting books.
We are also very fortunate with our outdoor space. We have a large astroturf pitch which allows for all year round use as well as a playground and trim trail with grassed area. The Foundation Stage has its own outdoor space allowing our younger children; a quieter place to play and learn. We are pleased to be part of the local community by running an allotment which gives our children opportunities to learn about growing plants and vegetables.

I have run my own tutor business in London and am currently a hospital home tutor. I enjoy working with different ages and skills and can teach up to age 14 in Maths and English. I have worked in the primary sector extensively and mostly one to one with the secondary age group. I enjoy working creatively with games practically or online to vary the children's learning and to keep their interest.
The lessons format will cater to their particular need - however in English I would check spelling and vocabulary, and improve writing skills and comprehension and in maths, times tables, long mulitplicationl and division, time and fractions usually appear as problem areas. However, I am happy to be directed by the parent if there is a particualar focussed need. Most children seem to need about two terms minimum to show an sustained improvement which then shows at school.

At Tutortoo we help students of all ages and abilities, in all subjects face to face and online. In December we won best Online Child Tutoring Newtork in the UK and also the Excellence Award For Child Education Support Services in the UK.
We provide written reports after each session.
Our aim is to unlock the potential of each student we work with, building their confidence and transforming their goals into achievements. We respond to the needs of our clients and provide the highest standard of customer care and support to all families who entrust their children’s education to us.
We treat every student as an individual and we care passionately about helping them reach their full academic potential. We value the need for building a student’s confidence and helping them to engage successfully with the subject being tutored. We personalise our whole service to meet the academic needs of all our students and their families.
When students enrol with us they are often really struggling and their parents don’t always know how to help them. From the first meeting we have with the student and their family, we take steps to address the way the student is feeling and help change their perspective and gain some positivity.
We give them the skills to tackle the subject they are struggling with, fill in the gaps in their knowledge and help lead them along a pathway to success.
Our aim is to stretch and challenge all students and develop their thinking and application skills to meet the requirements for the results they want to achieve.
All initial consultations are free to assess your child's requirements.
