I am currently using Facetime and Zoom to teach my tutees but I would usually teach at my house. I was an ice skating professional and teacher and then did a degree and a teaching certificate. I have been in my current day-time job teaching in a sixth form college since 1989. I tutor English Language, English Literature, Drama, Languages, Dance, Performing Arts and Maths. I attended Tiffin Girls' Grammar when I was young. I prepare tutees for 11+ and entrance exams. I am a senior examiner, a moderator and a Lead Verifier. I have co-authored 5 text books.
A former full time fully qualified secondary school teacher with extensive experience teaching privately, at top London secondary schools and at university level lasting over 10 years. I have a true passion for the subject which is why I gave up research to share the true beauty of the subject with younger minds.
I rely heavily on helping children visualise problems, using computerised simulations if necessary. I will always give a child the chance to work out a problem them themselves starting with simple examples and building on them.
When the student has understood a problem I will generally focus on teaching them how to express their ideas verbally as well as numerically.

Hi everyone! My name is Tanya and I am based in Staines. I am an enthusiastic Maths tutor with professional qualification for Mathematician (A-level in Mathematics; Applied Mathematics degree) and teacher (PGCE course in St Mary's University). I am patient and I believe you can be better in Maths with perseverance and practice and of course with an outstanding tutor who knows how to interact with the tutees in terms of fixing the missing gaps in their Maths knowledge as quick as it's possible.
After successfully finishing my PGCE course in St Mary's University Twickenham, I have been teaching Mathematics in secondary grammar school for the last two and an half years. During this time I have become aware of students' needs for gaining higher level as making Maths enjoyable and students responsible www.*** also have three years tutoring experience on one-to-one basis.
I offer a GROUP tutoring up to four students per session. They must be on similar levels in Maths.
I help students to cope with Maths, to gain more confidence, to achieve higher level in school and the only one thing to accomplish it, is more exercises, more solving problems, more revision and the most important is more explanations in the best individual way chosen for each of the tutees. During my lessons I introduce the new material in a simple way. This is followed by working on instructive reinforcing exercises to enhance and deepen understanding and build confidence in the new knowledge. I set little homework at the end of each lesson and discuss marked homework at the start of the next one using it to emphasis on the areas that require www.*** ; If you are looking for a tutor who is reliable, patient and believe in enhancing student's level and love www.*** 'm here.

Hi, it's Neil!
I have just completed my first year of BSc Economics at the University of Warwick. Having achieved top grades at IGCSE and as part of my International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at King's College School Wimbledon, I am confident that I have the background to help you achieve similar grades. I have also worked with children during my school years as part of an outreach programme where we went to local primary schools each week to aid the enhancement of their learning. I have also secured a Summer Analyst position at Citibank in the Corporate Banking division which I will undertake during the summer of 2022. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like to enquire about any of my credentials or how I can tailor learning to suit you best.
I am an expert Mathematics and Physics teacher with international exposure and three main languages. My schooling started in the Lebanon, giving me fluency in Arabic and English and strength in French. As my schooling developed through the International school system in Nigeria and finally graduating with a Lebanese Baccalaureate in Mathematics, I received a fully funded scholarship to pursue Mathematics at the University of Michigan Dearborn and then a partly funded MSc scholarship to specialize in Operations Research at the University of Edinburgh and a MBA from London School of Business and Finance.
My passion for teaching had always been part of my career path. I had the privilege of teaching in several parts of the world catering for a variety of educational systems including GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, IB, Lebanese Baccalaureate and others. I also taught at University level courses such as Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Electricity for Engineering. I think my life experiences and the diversity in my work experience makes me an excellent communicator and teacher.
I am a professor of marketing and business with extensive experience of teaching marketing, strategy, management, economics and quantitative research methods in many universities. I have just retired as a professor at one UK university and am a visiting professor there and at another UK university.
I have worked all my life in lecturing/teaching, writing, researching, managing and consultancy.
I have lots of experience of tutoring for AS and A level, sixth form entry examinations, and university undergraduate, masters and doctoral work.
I combine deep knowledge of my subjects, extensive research experience, excellent English and great editing skills.
I am particularly strong when it comes to A level economics and business and have developed lots of useful teaching resources for them. I am also pretty good at motivating students to study economics and business by making them more interesting. There is strong demand for my A level economics and business teaching, due to many - but not all - school teachers in these subjects not being too good, it seems. I advise school students on choice of universities and courses. I have substantial experience of tutoring for A level, AS level and sixth form entry examinations, as well as helping students pass numeracy and verbal reasoning tests. In my teaching of GCSE maths, I help students help themselves, by using different websites, taking them through how they work with great care, and encouraging them to go ahead, using me only when they have real problems of understanding. I also support undergraduate, masters and doctoral students in their work on assignments and theses. I always try to keep my paid work to a minimum, trying to get students to help themselves, but of course I`m always grateful for return business! I am particularly good at helping postgraduate students from different countries improve drafts of their dissertations and thesis and prepare them for final submission

I encourage learning by using different manipulatives, hands-on activities and technology. I utilise weekly tests to track students progress, locate areas of weakness and prepare students for final exams.
Being a versatile individual, I have had the opportunity to teach students who functioned below-, on- and above target grade. I have been very successful at accommodating diverse students needs by facilitating all styles of learners, offering individualised and integrating effective materials.
I have had awards and rewards for getting students to get excellent grades in GCSE and A level. See attached.
Have been at Kingston grammar school for 6 years and gone through the private school intensive system and know how the process goes and know the specification for maths and science like the back of my hand. An asset I would say that I offer is for tutoring in preparation for entrance exams as I know what key skills schools are looking out for in the exams and the level of understanding required. I myself got into Kingston grammar on the waiting list one of the last people and I know the struggle it is especially at a young age, however over time and working with younger children from 7-15 have learnt and developed techniques which help undertanding of content in a simple way.

Currently, finishing studing Mathematics at the University of Surrey, with a grade of First Class Honours. I finished studying my A-levels at Tiffin School in 2017. As a student who has recently finished their Maths and Further Maths A levels, achieving top grades (A* in Maths, A in Further Maths and a B in Physics), i feel like i can put a student`s perspective on the subject rather than teaching it from a teacher`s point of view. I have had GCSE maths students in the past few years all achieving A grades. Also taught 1st term maths University students their syllabus with them achieving at least a 2:1. I am a very passionate tutor, who will help the student achieve a top grade in Mathematics. To do this, i make lessons structured to each student's needs as every student is different.
