I have 8 years of teaching and tutoring experience in a variety of environments. I have always enjoyed teaching, tailoring my tuition to the individual and doing my utmost to ensure that each individual achieves their goals, whatever they may be.
In addition to my education and training, I lived in Austria for 3 years working as an English Language Assistant for the British Council. This invaluable time enabled me to fully hone my German language skills, and I have since worked as an online translator.

I have three years teaching experience, successfully teaching GCSE and A Level classes (my 2 years of GCSE classes got on average over +1 grades higher in progress nationally);I have taught A Level Maths for two of those years, again with many going on to achieve A and A*s, but also those who struggle making progress to where they want to be;I have also tutored alongside this so have experience of working one to one both in person, but also online using zoom professionally in this current climate;I feel I am a personable character who gets on well with students, engaging them and always believing they can do more than they believe - which I think is so important in success;I have ample resources and clear concise explanations to try and make maths as simple as possible to understand and progress with; Before recieving my degree in Mathematics and Business, I received A*s in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics A Level
Hello,
My name is Kirsty. I am currently in my 6th year of teaching Maths and work at a school in Oldham. I am Head of Key Stage 4 Mathematics and also a local lead of education for mastery mathematics, a programme looking at developing learning in Key Stage 3. I am an outstanding practitioner and deal well with pupils who struggle to grasp certain aspects of maths. I live in Manchester City centre and drive so can tutor at your home. I am available evenings and Sundays and cater for both Key Stage 3 and 4, higher and foundation.
I am an experienced teacher of Mathematics and Further Mathematics and have effectively tutored secondary and undergraduate students. I offer clear and friendly support. Please just send a message and we can discuss how I can help!
I am a qualified maths teacher with over 5 years teaching experience. I went in to teaching straight from university having achieved a bachelor of science degree in mathematics, then completing a teaching degree where I achieved a PGCE qualified teacher status.
I like to think I am enthusiastic and like to engage my students.
I plan lessons based on my students areas for development and I set additional homework to monitor progress and plan subsequent lessons. I have a variety of teaching techniques and I like to use different methods in order to solve mathematical problems, constantly making students aware of how different mathematical skills are widely used in varied topics.
I am available most weeknights and weekends. I offer tutoring from home (Atherton/Manchester). However I am willing to travel locally if needed, I can also offer online lessons if preferred.
I have been teaching at Secondary level for more than 25 years including being head of department. I teach A level Maths and Further Maths where I specialise in mechanics and decision Maths. I am a current examiner at both GCSE and A level Maths. I like students to enjoy my sessions, have a laugh and feel able to ask when they need help. I use the online platform Bramble. I also offer small groups of up to 4 students at £20.
I am a very experienced ex Head of Physics, still teaching to A-level and currently examining with AQA. I have experience in all levels of secondary Physics, including Oxbridge entrance.
I also offer Mathematics to GCSE level.
Sundays prefered, but other times possible by arrangement.
