I am a patient, compassionate individual who specialises in tutoring those with additional learning, social or emotional needs.
I currently work within a acute psychiatric school which is attached to an inpatient unit in Edgware. I travel from Bedford and so am able to travel within these locations.
I carry extensive knowledge and experience surrounding mental health challenges that young people face daily. I have received feedback from students on many occassions indicating that my style of mentoring and approach is helpful for them. I am extremely passionate about helping young people specifically that face struggles in their day to day lives and act as a mentor/coach to assist them whenever they are in need or crisis.
I am a trained mental health first aider and a mental health champion in my current role.
In addition to coaching i am able to tutor on a 1-1 basis in the following subjects:
GCSE-Degree Level Psychology
GCSE-Alevel English Literature and Language
GCSE-Alevel History /Geography
GCSE-Alevel Sociology
GCSE-Alevel Health and Social Care
I am also able to assist with coursework materials, essay writing skills, producing effective revision notes, creating CVs /cover letters and with job applications.
