I'm a German native professional language coach, originally from Berlin, Germany. I enjoy sports, poetry and literature. I teach all levels of German, beginners including A Level and University German, conversational German, GCSE German and intensive exam preparation. Furthermore, I teach commercial classes to provide business German to employees preparing to go to a German speaking country or individuals planning to start a career in any of the German speaking countries. I also offer cold war specific history sessions and holiday workshops. I believe in a "one to one approach" and teaching through positive encourgagement rather than "tell and do". I plan all classes according to level and the targets of my student and report back to the parents if required. Students are always encouraged to express themselves and develop a natural flow. Intensive exam preparation is fully comprehensive. I provide all materials for all lessons, all levels and students are encouraged to take completed work home to revise so that all work is understood at all times. I teach as I learned, not as a native speaker, but as a language lover who enjoyed languages at school and at university and aim to support my students by helping them with grammar and vocabulary so that they can make good progress.
When my own children were doing their GCSE's, helping them lead me to discover how much I loved teaching. All my lessons are very much tailor-made to suit the needs of each person and if teaching on-line I email notes after each lesson. I always go the extra mile for my students particularly in the run up to important exams and assessments.
