After graduation I worked in the North SEa Oil fields as a professional geologist. In 2000 I took a PGCE in Geography. Since 2001 I have taught full time at Hereford Sixth Form College, one of the countries top performing non selective colleges and 2016 "TES Sixth Form College of the Year", rated Outstanding by Ofsted. I have taught A level geology and Geography, GCSE Geography and GCSE Environmental Science, and am currently Head of Geology. I have tutored amny studnets at A level in both Goelogy and Geography.

Sustainable finance expert at the forefront of climate and nature conservation efforts since 2017 through collaborations with the WWF (Word Wildlife Fund), the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and various financial institutions (UBS; Pictet; Alatus Capital). These led to the world's first bankable nature-based solutions (2017), the Oxford Offsetting Principles (2019), and landscape-sized NBSs for climate adaptation (2021). Co-founded the word’s first impact venture (Quantifying Nature: 2022 to 2023) which quantifies the financial risks of the climate-biodiversity crisis on corporates to mobilise nature-positive financial hedging solutions at scale.
