I have been teaching for 5 years and quickly became head of department in a secondary school in Surrey. I have been teaching the AQA syllabus to years 10 and 11 and have also designed a whole curriculum for years 7 through to 11. Therefore I have a variety of resources and wide range of specialist topics including humanand physical geography. Prior to becoming a teacher I worked as an ecologist, field biologist in Mauritius and worked for a number of conservation organisations such as the RSPB. I can therefore make cross curricular links with biology and citizenship.

I have a distinct love for geogrpahy, particularly physical, and loved the course at both GCSE and ALEVEL. I am a confident teacher, having tutored English and maths whilst volunteering with Syrian refugees taking their SATS in the UK last year. I like to think of myslef as a friendly and approachable face, working in my holidays at a nursery with children aged 9 months-4 years. I can offer online geography notes and quizlet links for AQA GCSE as well as useful advice on exam technique and detailed case study infomation. I hope to hear from you soon!

Education is the liberating force of this world - I have used this to show my student what a great and wonderful world we live in. I see myself as professional with a diligent attitude towards work; I am also self motivated with strong interpersonal skills. I have highly developed skills in research and planning, along with this I am team player who is goal oriented. I seek to foster an environment in which my students perform at the highest. As a teacher of the humanities specializing in History, Geography and Social Studies/Sociology, my students benefit from being engaged in well rounded teaching and learning experience. This makes the classroom exciting and full of adventure, through the facilitation of critical and creative thought in my students. During my years in the classroom I have been engaged in continuous training and development both personally and professionally, these opportunities enhances my skill set tremendously.

Hi, I'm Fatima, a recent law graduate with a passion for teaching. My journey in law began with a love for reading and deepened during my A-level studies. I firmly believe that understanding the fundamentals is key to mastering any subject, which is why I focus on ensuring my students grasp the core concepts before moving on to more complex material.
In my tutoring sessions, I emphasize the importance of structure and clarity. I start each lesson with a clear set of objectives, outlining what we'll cover to keep us both on track. I also prepare subtopics and relevant questions to engage my students, helping them to think critically and identify areas where they might need more support.
A significant part of my teaching approach includes practicing with past papers and exam-style questions. I find that this not only reinforces the material but also equips students with the skills to apply their knowledge effectively in exams. We review answers together, discussing tips and strategies for improvement.
Every student has the potential to excel, and I'm here to help you unlock that potential. Let's work together to achieve your goals and build a strong foundation for your success.

My Experience and Services:
Hi, I am currently a 2nd Year Medical Student at Keele University. In addition to this, I have also obtained a biomedical sciences degree with a first class honours from St George's University of London. I am based in London and have been tutoring online for over 4 years with a 100% pass rate. I offer A level biology tuition as well as GCSE triple and combined sciences or separate sciences as required. I offer a free 45 minute free trial session to get to know the student and show my teaching style, this allows me to build a relationship with each individual and tailor my sessions to this. I love teaching children and have always prioritised their education through each session by asking them what they would like to be taught. I also make it clear that I am able to answer any queries they have about the topic outside of sessions to provide them extra support that no other tutor does. I go over and beyond to understand my students and work alongside them by sending them topic checklists and plan each session according to their weakest topics. The structure of my sessions follows this: 30 minutes of taught content and 30 minutes of exam style questions. I ensure they apply their knowledge within the session as this prepares them for any and all mock/real exams throughout the year. Moreover, I provide them with study techniques, resources and any advice that they require. I positively encourage all my students to try their hardest and strive for excellence to achieve the top grades.
A little bit about me:
I love pilates and long walks. I also am a huge baker and love to try to cook new foods in my spare time. In addition I also love to read and volunteer at my local library.
I look forward to working with your child to improve their grades.
Please do not hesitate to get in contact with me on tutor extra or my contact details if you have any queries about sessions.

I have experience working with kids and young adults in classroom settings and have overseen revision sessions for students in secondary school while they were studying for A-level exams. I was appointed head boy in upper sixth and so I have a strong background in communicating and working with a variety of ages. I have volunteered in local primary schools to work with kids in young settings also, I really enjoyed my time doing this and found it to be an invaluable experience for my interest in teaching.
