I am a highly experienced and enthusiastic tutor to students up to 18 years of age with a Masters in Education and responsibility for tutoring and assessing newly qualified teachers. I have taught in schools as a senior leader for over 20 years and have been an examiner for the Edexcel and AQA exam boards for over 15 years. I pride myself in delivering personalised learning programmes to all of my students and ensure that all work completed is awarded with the highest level of written and verbal feedback. My lessons are always well resourced and are matched to the student's abilities and interests to make them challenging, engaging and enjoyable. I am very professional but also have an excellent rapport with my students. Previously a school leader of literacy projects, Gifted and Talented Co-ordination and a Head of History. Within formal education settings, I am trained and experienced in teaching English and Humanities up to A-Level and Maths and Science up to GCSE.

I am a graduate who has finished studying Maths with Statistics at Royal Holloway University and I have good maths and science teaching skills. I know what techniques are needed for students to thrive and to have a good learning environment. Along with that, I know what techniques are needed to answer exam questions, so that they can do really well, and for them to find their true potential, but most importantly, for students to have a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning. In terms of teaching, I can teach maths, biology and chemistry at KS3, GCSE and A levels. I teach physics at GCSE and at KS3 level. I have 4 years experience as a private tutor and I teach students in the best possible standards as possible as I am very patient and I understand students difficulties and needs and therefore allow them to succeed. I have had 4 years experience in teaching GCSE and A level subjects, which are maths, chemistry, biology and physics. I have also taught geography in the past. I have taught students in person for the past 4 years. For in person teaching, I have taught in libraries and at schools. The first lesson will be a trial lesson, just to introduce myself and also give an indication of where you are working at for your subjects, so that I can plan the lessons according to your needs further forward. At additional request, I will be able to teach Statistics and Further Maths.
For online teaching, I have taught students using Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meets.
Additionally, I have 4 years of experience in teaching students with SEN, as I have taught these students online and in person. I have taught students with ADHD, autism, anxiety, dyslexia and emotional difficulties.

Following a degree in Geogrpahy at Exeter University, I completed my PGCE (QTS) at the University of Buckingham. Since quailifying I have taught at two leading independant schools in Sutton Valence and currently Reed's School, Surrey. I have been teaching for 5 years and quickly became head of department in a secondary school in Surrey. I have been teaching the AQA syllabus to years 10 and 11 and have also designed a whole curriculum for years 7 through to 11. Therefore I have a variety of resources and wide range of specialist topics including humanand physical geography. Prior to becoming a teacher I worked as an ecologist, field biologist in Mauritius and worked for a number of conservation organisations such as the RSPB. I can therefore make cross curricular links with biology and citizenship.
I have a distinct love for geogrpahy, particularly physical, and loved the course at both GCSE and ALEVEL. I am a confident teacher, having tutored English and maths whilst volunteering with Syrian refugees taking their SATS in the UK last year. I like to think of myslef as a friendly and approachable face, working in my holidays at a nursery with children aged 9 months-4 years. My name is Akshar. I graduated with a First-Class Biomedical Science from King’s College London. I recently graduated with a Master's in Physician Associate Studies from St. Georges University London. Additionally, I serve as an examiner, responsible for marking and providing feedback during the summer examination series. I aspire to become a competent clinician, working in both A&E and General Practice. Learning new concepts has piqued my interest even further. My Experience and Services:
Hi, I am currently a 2nd Year Medical Student at Keele University. In addition to this, I have also obtained a biomedical sciences degree with a first class honours from St George's University of London. I am based in London and have been tutoring online for over 4 years with a 100% pass rate. I offer A level biology tuition as well as GCSE triple and combined sciences or separate sciences as required. I offer a free 45 minute free trial session to get to know the student and show my teaching style, this allows me to build a relationship with each individual and tailor my sessions to this. I love teaching children and have always prioritised their education through each session by asking them what they would like to be taught. I also make it clear that I am able to answer any queries they have about the topic outside of sessions to provide them extra support that no other tutor does. I go over and beyond to understand my students and work alongside them by sending them topic checklists and plan each session according to their weakest topics. The structure of my sessions follows this: 30 minutes of taught content and 30 minutes of exam style questions. I ensure they apply their knowledge within the session as this prepares them for any and all mock/real exams throughout the year. Moreover, I provide them with study techniques, resources and any advice that they require.
