Science Clinic Private Tutors was founded in 2010. Our vision was to help struggling children understand the concepts of the major subjects which are sought after by many colleges & universities. Our tutoring was mainly in the main subjects (Maths, all 3 Sciences & English Language) to exam students only. Because of the huge demand of tutoring in all year groups, we now teach students across the board from Primary (KS1 & KS2) through to GCSE, A-level and University. We were luck to have had colleagues we share the same vision with join us. Now we can teach all subjects from Primary through to GCSE, College /A-levels and Science & Maths at University level. All our teachers / tutors are graduates and qualified teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who understand the National Curriculum. Some of them are examiners at GCSE and A-level, which means they know the exam techniques students need to answer the exam questions properly and get better grades. Within the team, we have professionals with very high qualifications ie Masters Degrees (MSc / MA) and PhDs in various subjects. We can, therefore, be confident to say we are professionals who are dedicated to what we do with proven records in the UK’s most entrance and national exams. We are a tutoring organisation that is defined by its professionalism. Our aim is to provide a personal service. This makes us very different from most tutoring companies that just offer a platform for tutors and students to meet. We speak to clients so that we can match them with the most appropriate tutor for their needs. When this happens, the results can be remarkable & confidence grows. We personally know all our tutors and all have had DBS checks and their qualifications checked before we take them on. We are also a member of The Tutors’ Association (TTA) which was formed in 2013 to provide standards to the tutoring industry.
I have been tutoring for over 10 years and concentrate mainly on GCSE. I teach many adults from scratch or picking up where they left at school. I teach as I learned, not as a native speaker, but as a language lover who enjoyed languages at school and at university and aim to support my students by helping them with grammar and vocabulary so that they can make good progress.
When my own children were doing their GCSE's, helping them lead me to discover how much I loved teaching. All my lessons are very much tailor-made to suit the needs of each person and if teaching on-line I email notes after each lesson. I always go the extra mile for my students particularly in the run up to important exams and assessments.

I'm fluent in Spanish, ( my native language) French, and English and have spent many years teaching and studying languages. I completed a bachelor's degree in Spanish and English at Manchester/ALmeria University (2008) and studied Spanish and English Literature in school (GCSE and A-Level) so I know how daunting grammar can sometimes feel and how stressful language/literature exams can be... but also how great it feels when you finally start getting it!

Alternatively, if you're wanting to learn languages for travel or business purposes (or just for fun!) we can tailor the lessons 100% to suit your needs. I also teach courses to adults from beginners to advanced and I always tailored to each student's need. I also teach English to foreigners to achieve the Cambridge Examinations ( A1 to C1).
I effectively deliver and plan online outstanding lessons and the feedback that I have received from parents, pupils, and adult learners have always been very stimulating. I strongly believe in the student centered-approach as always shown in my lesson plans. I believe that all students are individuals with very specific needs so differentiation has always been at the forefront of my teaching practice. Try our French or Spanish Clubs for Pre-school and Primary School children running online and lead by our dedicated team of experienced native speakers, based in the UK, who have been successfully delivering their 30-minute clubs online since the first lockdown in March 2020.
Developed from our well-established in-school clubs and supported by « le club français », our clubs offer children the opportunity to hear and speak French or Spanish, sing songs, make drawings and enjoy directed online games together in French or Spanish.

I am currently on a gap year and will be starting my first year at medical school next year, so I have a lot of free time that I'd like to use to help students that are in the position I was in less than a year ago.
I aim to provide interactive session that guide the students to apply themselves in their subjects. I have a true passion for these subjects and I am very eager to teach others and share my knowledge. Students are also free to come with their own requests and specific questions and I will be happy to go through getting to an answer with them.
I also aim to share resources and provide tips for revising that helped me achieve 3 A* at alevel and top grades at GCSE. (Only able to tutor for AQA exams).
I have had practice tutoring other young people as a year 13, as I tutored other students in the lower year, and they saw great improvement in their exam results. In one example I had a student go from getting Ds to achieving an A* is a topic test.

As someone with experience in tutoring and a skill for illustrating and presenting complex ideas in accessible and easy formats, I can ensure that anybody can succeed at the subjects they have chosen to study, regardless of their original level. I personally had to self study a lot of material for IGCSEs and AS Levels, but still managed to not only acquire a full spread of top grades in both, but attain marks nearing 100% in multiple subjects. I believe the key to this is understanding a subject to its core, rather than just learning things at a surface level. Not only does this lead to better exam perfomance, but it also means that what is learnt will be retained for longer.
