Science Clinic Private Tutors was founded in 2010. Our vision was to help struggling children understand the concepts of the major subjects which are sought after by many colleges & universities. Our tutoring was mainly in the main subjects (Maths, all 3 Sciences & English Language) to exam students only. Because of the huge demand of tutoring in all year groups, we now teach students across the board from Primary (KS1 & KS2) through to GCSE, A-level and University. We were luck to have had colleagues we share the same vision with join us. Now we can teach all subjects from Primary through to GCSE, College /A-levels and Science & Maths at University level. I'm fluent in Spanish, ( my native language) French, and English and have spent many years teaching and studying languages. I completed a bachelor's degree in Spanish and English at Manchester/ALmeria University (2008) and studied Spanish and English Literature in school (GCSE and A-Level) so I know how daunting grammar can sometimes feel and how stressful language/literature exams can be... but also how great it feels when you finally start getting it!
On the language side of things, I can help you with your writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and exam technique. I can help you with conversational skills if you're just looking to go traveling or make Spanish/French friends.
On the literature side of things, a large part of my degree was literature-based, so I would be very happy to help any Literature students if you are struggling with the subject.

I have taught these exams for many years so I know how they work and how you can do well in them. We will work closely with the syllabus and go through some secrets of exam technique to make sure you get a top grade.
Alternatively, if you're wanting to learn languages for travel or business purposes (or just for fun!) we can tailor the lessons 100% to suit your needs. I also teach courses to adults from beginners to advanced and I always tailored to each student's need. I also teach English to foreigners to achieve the Cambridge Examinations ( A1 to C1).
I effectively deliver and plan online outstanding lessons and the feedback that I have received from parents, pupils, and adult learners have always been very stimulating. I strongly believe in the student centered-approach as always shown in my lesson plans. I believe that all students are individuals with very specific needs so differentiation has always been at the forefront of my teaching practice. I find it very important to address any students’ needs in order to get the best potential out of every single student. I am successful in establishing high expectations of behavior in the classroom whilst still developing positive relationships with my classes.
I love online teaching as well as face to face. I have been doing online experience for the last 5 years and I have helped most of my students to achieve an excellent language level. I use Google Meets, Google Classroom, or even Skype for online teaching. I generally send and post great, fun, and genuine resources so that the student can access them easily and successfully. There are so many fun online resources that I could provide you to enhance your language skills, especially in Speaking; what a great way to speak the language with a native speaker! You will also gain a broad cultural awareness and your fluency and pronunciation will speed up!

Try our French or Spanish Clubs for Pre-school and Primary School children running online and lead by our dedicated team of experienced native speakers, based in the UK, who have been successfully delivering their 30-minute clubs online since the first lockdown in March 2020.
Developed from our well-established in-school clubs and supported by « le club français », our clubs offer children the opportunity to hear and speak French or Spanish, sing songs, make drawings and enjoy directed online games together in French or Spanish.
Members receive a songbook with soundtracks and access to our « Babelzone » website, for home-learning which is full of many of the engaging on-line videos, stories and games in French and Spanish which we use in our courses. See images of Babelzone's contents in the photo gallery below.

Madame Prevost (Stephanie): French national and club leader since 2015 - running French clubs online after school, most days. In normal times she runs French clubs in all three Primary Schools in Thame in Oxfordshire.

Staff Training: In addition to our fortnightly online team meetings, we attend regular online training courses run by « le club français » ( www.*** ) to keep us up to date. This has been particularly helpful with our recent move into delivering online clubs.
Precise Charges: £ www.*** per weekly 30-minute club and £ www.*** for the course welcome pack. Payment is per term, with the option to pay by instalments, and a 10% sibling discount. However, should your child not wish to continue after the first session there would be no charge.

My different experiences (professional and personal) have given me a lot of ideas to create and develop lessons adapted to different learners, levels and in a friendly environment. Lessons can be organized in different way.
