Hello! My name is Tamara and I am a primary teacher from Toronto, Canada. I have been living and teaching in the UK since 2015. I have taught Foundation Stage, Year 1, Year 2, Year 4/5 as well as covered across all other year groups in KS2. I also have experience teaching Functional Skills Maths to adults 16-21. Alongside teaching, I have been tutoring for the past 8 years across all primary year groups as well as secondary year groups. I absolutely love teaching and believe that children learn best when their interests are considered. I tailor my tuition to each child, using their interests and their academic and emotional needs to plan a program that works for them. I have worked with children with special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Dyslexia.

Teaching has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I first started tutoring French and Spanish to the younger years when I was in my second year of Sixth Form college in the UK at the age of 16. My love for helping people to expand their knowledge and communication in a language only kept developing from that moment.
