I am a dedicated teacher who has grown in all aspects of teaching since embarking on my career. I have risen to the challenges of teaching and believe that all children can reach their learning potential.
As a tutor, I believe in working on a personalised course of study working through use of past exam papers and interview questions, teaching students to answer the questions well and grow in confidence.
I have successfully coached children through 7+ 11+ and 13+ exams including exams to scholarship level. My past students have gained entry to the Royal Grammar School Guildford, Eton College, St James School Ashford, Halliford School, Shepperton, St Catherine’s School, Bramley and St George’s College, Weybridge, Cokethorpe School, Witney, Headington School, Oxford, St Benedict’s Ealing, Kings College Wimbledon, Dulwich School. London, The Gloucestershire 11 + Consortium, The Birmingham 11+ Consortium. The London 11 + Consortium, The Slough 11 + Consortium and Tiffin School. .
I also enjoy teaching students who are learning English as Second Language following the Cambridge English scheme of work. I am a qualified TEFL teacher with experience of teaching both adults and children.
Tutor Experience
I am a 1 to 1 and online tutor working with students in preparation for Independent School Entrance examinations at 7+, !1+,13+ along with the 11+ Examinations for Grammar Schools. I support children across the Primary Curriculum supporting their understanding to boost confidence and prepare them for both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 SATS.
I also tutor Students learning English as a Second Language preparing them for English Proficiency Examinations including English conversation, Reading and writing.
