Hi, my name is Dee I am a mum to 3, grown up, successful children and to 2 beautiful grandsons. I have been a teacher since 1992 and have seen so many changes to the education system in my time of work.
I have taught all primary age groups as well as pre-school, and am currently a part-time teacher of a KS1 class, both year 1 and year 2 together.
I have a great deal of experience of working with children with additional learning needs and have loved being a private tutor to both primary and KS3 pupils, specialising in English and Maths, in my home, pre covid.
I really enjoy supporting children one to one and believe that sometimes, out of the classroom learning as well as non-parent learning, is a MUST for many young people.
I have seen all of my school and private pupils, achieve a high standard and look forward to being able to work alongside your children, to see the same again.
If your child is doing GCSEs my key areas of knowledge for English are the books Macbeth, a Christmas carol and inspector calls however I have read many other books for children who just need a bit of extra support in English I can do anything from spelling and reading help to enable them to thrive when exam time comes i have a strong belief a child is more likely to learn when learning is made enjoyable and they can relate to there tutor Iv always been fond of English and it's a subject throughout school I exceld in I am now going on to do journalism in further education and I believe every one can exell in English with the right support.

My name is Sheona B. and I am a Primary School Teacher with over 12 years experience in classrooms and tutoring individuals outside of school.
I have taught children from Nursery age to Year Six and I have always ensured that I plan and deliver lessons that not only meet the child's needs, but are also fun, interactive and engaging! I work hard to ensure that the children I teach can thrive and achieve!

I am a KS2 leader in a large primary school in North Yorkshire
I have been teaching for 10 years in Harrogate. My passion lies in the fun, play based learning, which engages children and accelerates learning. Our learning will take place outside as much as possible. Before sessions commence, I will have a detailed discussion with the child's parents, to gather as much information as possible, and so that I can tailor our learning to a theme which suits a child's interest.
Wether I'm teaching young learners their ABCs, Junior High School Students their IGCSE ESL, or even turoring older students how to ace their IELTS, I'm your man!

I have been tutoring English for nearly two years at all age groups from Ks2 all the way up to A-level.
I offer hour long sessions where I can offer sessions which are tailored to the needs of your child, wether this being short and engaging activities or exam preparation activities for a child who is preparing for their exams. After each session I complete a fully detailed report of our session detailing what went well, where we can improve and what we aim to cover in the upcoming sessions!
