Bowbrook House School

Our average class size is 14 and we have an overall pupil to teacher ratio of 1 to 12. Classes in the Infants and Juniors are limited to 16. Year groups in the Middles and Seniors may average 26 - 28. These are then taught in two ability groups thus maintaining our small class sizes. Bowbrook's strength lies in its size.
This personalised approach enables all pupils to flourish. We are large enough to compete and to challenge, yet small enough to care.
Individual pupil success, success within the county of Worcestershire and success on the National stage.
Winners of National ISA Awards in 2010, 2013 and again in 2017. Worcestershire Education Awards, double winners in 2017 and finalists again in two categories in 2018. We constantly challenge our staff and our pupils to strive to be the best that they can.

Whether you are looking for some exam preparation help in the lead up to important examinations, or you need ongoing support throughout the full education journey. We have SEN support specialists, language specialists and every subject expert you may need. Our tutors are ready to get started by developing an individual learning plan for each student.
What we do at Tutortoo
Tutortoo was started by two former teachers who have left the teaching profession but still love teaching. Our combined experience of 35 years within teaching covers primary through to degree level and, in addition to the main subjects we supply tuition for, we have a range of experience with students with special educational needs and English as an additional www.*** ;
Our philosophy
We treat every student as an individual and we care passionately about helping them reach their full academic potential. We value the need for building a student’s confidence and helping them to engage successfully with the subject being tutored. We personalise our whole service to meet the academic needs of all our students and their families.
Our aims
When students enrol with us they are often really struggling and their parents don’t always know how to help them. From the first meeting we have with the student and their family, we take steps to address the way the student is feeling and help change their perspective and gain some positivity.
Sharing our values
All of our tutors share our values. We ask all our tutors to personalise the learning to the individual student; to do their best to engage students in the learning process; to give them confidence to reach their goals and their full academic potential; and to instil in them a ‘can do’ attitude that will stay with them for life.
Why choose Tutortoo?
All of our tutors are highly qualified and are able to provide the best quality of tutoring, tailored around the student’s specific needs and learning goals. They are flexible in terms of teaching approach, so that the tutoring sessions are as effective as www.*** will work with the student to develop a learning path that will help them to achieve their targets, whether that is the grades to get into a specific school/college, or to work on one particular subject in greater detail.
Our tutors are fully DBS checked and go through a formal interview process and vetting before we offer them a role at Tutortoo. We only employ the very best tutors that we know will deliver a top-class tutoring service.

KS2 Maths, English, history and geography teacher in Birmingham, UK. I have vast experience teaching KS2 classes in Birmingham and have the ability to assess a child's understanding and skills development used by various teachers. This helps me to establish prior learning, move the learning, and deepen learning. I do understand that children learn concepts and skills at different paces and therefore have the capacity to allow each individual child to develop at his or her pace. Motivation and how to sustain it is key in every child's learning. This is what drives my teaching. I will help a child enjoy learning and make him/her develop that keen interest in learning and enjoy the rewards of hard work. Give your child a chance

Hello,
We are a Dudley-based tuition company who has become a National Tuition Provider.
We are looking to use teachers with QTS in the core subjects of English, Maths and Science to deliver after-school tuition in schools in and around the Dudley area.
The majority of our tuition takes place between 3:30pm and 5:30 pm in schools that are local to DY3, DY6, and DY8. There are also opportunities during the day should that be something you would be interested in.
This is exam-focused tuition, in the main to year 11 pupils who are in dire need of a catch-up.
We teach in groups of one-to-three or one-to-six and this is exam-focused tuition.
We pay £32 per hour and we are working with many schools.
The sessions involve preparing but not planning, there is no marking or assessment - simply tutoring.
If this is something that you would be interested in learning more about do not hesitate to get in touch.
Many thanks
Alan Jones
