Please accept my enthusiastic application. I have read your application and requirements with interest. I have been tutoring for over 5 years and feel like my experience aligns well with the requirement you require. I am certain I would be a valuable addition to your organisation and I will step in and make an immediate contribution to your students’ continued success.
Having over 5 years of tutoring experience, I believe I would fit right into this role. I tutor from early years, to KS1, Ks2 and have started tutoring in 11+ for over a year in Maths and English I absolutely love seeing children excel in their education. Tutoring is an extremely rewarding job that allows me to be a part of building someone's foundation base in education and learning. This role will also give me a chance to gain more skills.
I absolutely love making the lesson fun and try my best to make it enjoyable. As a Tutor I prepare diverse and engaging activities and lesson plans to break down concepts increase student understanding and improve academic performance. I first assess the child in order to understand their strength and weaknesses. I then plan lessons according to what the child needs more help in. I organise and manage each lesson so I can have a record of what the child has done and what needs to be done. I am able to multi-task and meet students learning needs individually or in a group setting, as well as understand each child is unique and will have different learning abilities. I will be patience, have empathy and positive attitude towards each child. Going above and beyond for my student is what I feel is necessary so I know they are learning and are comfortbale to ask for extra help through email or text. I am ready to commit for a full academic year and even more.
Please review my attached CV for additional information. Thank you for your time.
Kind Regards,
Sana

Having studied English Literature and Language at Leeds University, I then combined my passion for English with my passion for helping young people and became a school teacher.
During my time as a teacher I have progressed to the point where I now lead a large English faculty in a secondary school. I have over 15 years of teaching both English Literature ans Language and regularly see students under my tutelage achieve excellent results at both GCSE and A Level.
I have developed a range of methods and techniques to ensure students are engaged with their learning - when this happens, any barriers to learning are broken down and rapid progress can take place.

Aisha S.
Tutor, Teacher, Instructor
|
My name is Aisha and I am a qualified Primary School Teacher with an extensive amount of experience working with children, at primary level including EYFS. I am innovative, enthusiastic and always looking for alternative methods for key topics because I understand that children learn in different ways. Also, if children fully understand the basics by the end of year 6, it will give them a good and confident start in secondary school, which is where I will be able to help.
I am skilled particularly in English as I have studied it up to A Level, and I have always had a great passion for English. I have helped those who do not speak English as their first language to grasp the basics of the language in order to communicate effectively. I have a lot of experience in essay writing, including sentence structure, grammar and punctuation. I also have a lot of experience helping children with maths at primary level to ensure they grasp the fundamentals of numeracy in order to progress further.

Charity
I have been part of the humanity welfare trust for 1. 5 years. Humanity welfare trust was established by a group of eminent community leaders in 2017. Humanity Welfare Trust (HWT) is a leading non-governmental organizations in countries such as Turkey, Pakistan and India including its own headquarters in (Cheadle) Manchester which is dedicated to carrying out humanitarian and development programs to fight poverty and people’s sufferings. It has also been working in partnership with vulnerable communities regardless of faith, caste, gender or political beliefs. I have helped people ranging from old grandparents in care homes and cancer patients to helping children in schools and nurseries through the charity. This charity provides opportunities to help those who are suffering from illnesses so they can acquire medical care and support. I visited India in 2016 and saw the dire condition the poor are living. Furthermore many students have started to go school in India however the children who do attend school receive an inadequate education because of poorly trained or underpaid teachers, overcrowded classrooms and a lack of basic tools such as textbooks, blackboard, even chalk, pencil and paper. I have personally helped donate sanitation kits as well as thousands of water bottles to improve the lives of these innocent people.
I strongly believe that education provides the key for a better future, so these underprivileged people can increase their skills, fulfil their potential and pursue their goals. But millions of children across India are denied even basic education. As a charity we aim to provide impoverished communities with access to education or training, which offers them a way out of poverty. By working directly with local communities, we ensure that our educational projects are relevant to their needs.
Attendance-
My attendance is 100%.This is all due to me being extremely dedicated to school and not missing a single minute of learning. I strongly believe that each second should be valued because there are many people in this world who don’t even get the chance to appreciate that. My behaviour is impeccable due to me listening to every instruction the teacher gives and acting on it instantly. The evidence is me winning the student of the year award recently. This shows that by acting on the schools motto of ‘working hard’ and ‘being nice’ can result in you being rewarded.
Work experience/community work
I have done my work experience at Cooks mill (Manchester’s largest catering supplies.)
During my work experience at Cooks mill, I was fortunate enough to have gained a first-hand experience and learned, many different sides of what goes into a project, the general process of how a project is initially planned, developed and completed; as well as how much work and detail goes into every stage.
Another valuable lesson I have learned during these 12 weeks, were the many different types of work an employer has to perform, which in turn, have provided me with more insight into the different types of roles and responsibilities that I could perform as a Doctor working for the NHS.
Reflecting back to my first day at Cooks mill, it was one of the most memorable days of my
time at work. They were very open and happy for me to contribute as much as I wanted to, and were open to any suggestions and ideas. This instantly made me feel comfortable and definitely made me feel as though I was part of a team.
In Cooks mill there are surveyors, project supervisors and managers all
working under one roof. There is a large range of people who have different strengths and
qualifications and they work together and organise their work in sync with one another so
that work flows and they are able to complete their work efficiently in order to present it to
the client on time. This in turn, manages to help the workplace become better as a team and
therefore creates a good atmosphere in the working environment. This has then showed me how I will need to communicate with my peers in my future job.
Overall, my work experience at being director at the cksmill was productive and I was very resilient in times of difficulty and I was very happy with the amount of things that I have learned and experienced in the 12 weeks of being a student employee with the company. (This is something I did on the weekends)
In the wider community I am involved in cleaning the mosque and providing support for the elderly people. This is something which I do every Sunday (early morning) which shows my passion in helping the environment be a better and cleaner place. Furthermore I do karate every Sunday to build my self-confidence and most importantly helped me with discipline. I have done karate for many years and it has helped me with my self-esteem. One on my hobbies is to also tutoring my sister every week to improve my teaching and oral skills.

I have worked as a Primary School teacher in Harrogate for 5 years now, based primarily in KS2 but I do also have experience of working with Year 1 and 2 children. I have previously tutored children ranging from Year 3 to Year 7, mainly focusing on maths and English consolidation. I am, however, confident tutoring in all areas of the primary curriculum.
I am happy to do home visits or tutor virtually via Skype or Zoom. In previous tutoring positions, I have often worked to compliment the topics being taught in school to pre-teach, consolidate or boost confidence but I am also happy to assess the needs of the children and tailor sessions based on any areas of development.

I have been teaching for 10 years in Harrogate. My passion lies in the fun, play based learning, which engages children and accelerates learning. Our learning will take place outside as much as possible. Before sessions commence, I will have a detailed discussion with the child's parents, to gather as much information as possible, and so that I can tailor our learning to a theme which suits a child's interest.

Firstly, we offer a free assessment. An assessment in English and maths takes around one and a half hours to complete. At the end of that time we’ll be in a position to tell you where your son’s / daughter’s strengths and weaknesses lie.
If you decide to enrol, we tutor in 80 minute blocks, during that time students will complete about 6 – 8 activities, some on the computer and some using the written curriculum resources we have.
We design an individual program for each of our students and aim it at their level of understanding to improve them as quickly as they can manage.
We tutor in small groups with a maximum of five in a group. However, we don’t teach them as a group, as each child has different needs and will be at a different stage, so they are all taught one to one and the tutor gives individual support and feedback on their work throughout the session. This promotes independent learning and gives the children time to think through what they are currently working on.
All our sessions are delivered in our dedicated centre, which provides a safe environment without the distractions that can be a drawback to delivering tuition at home.
We charge £31 for an 80 minute session, which is £23. 25 per hour comparatively.
Because we are Ofsted registered we can accept childcare vouchers, or Working Tax Credits can be used against the fees.
We run sessions on Tuesday to Friday at 4:00pm, 5:30pm and 7:00pm and on Sundays at 9:00am, 10:30am and 12 noon.
I would be very pleased to hear from you should you wish to book a free assessment.
