Online Criminal Justice Teachers
I am a former senior police officer and now a university lecturer in criminology and criminal justice. I am also deputy programme leader in the criminology and psychology degree at my university. My 30 year police career saw me undertake a variry of operational and strategic roles including frontline policing, counter terrorism, public order and crime investigation. My last post was as a chief superintendent at the College of Policing. I have a BSc in criminology and criminal justice, a Maters (MSc) in criminology and criminal psychology, and am nearing completion of a PhD in health psychology where I am researching police wellbeing and suicide prevention. Not only can I bring my academic expertise in respect of the theortical apsects of criminal justice, but I possess extensive practical experience in policing throughout the UK (England,Wales and Scotland).
