I have three years tutoring experience of GCSE and A Level Mathematics, as well as A Level Further Mathematics.
Aside from this, I have worked at King`s College London Mathematics School for nine years, teaching AS Computer Science as well as supporting students in admissions test preparation for Maths (i.e. the Oxford MAT and STEP papers). This has also involved mathematics outreach for y10 and y11 students,.
Before working in a school (during my PhD), I took on a range of tutorials for undergraduate mathematics students, mainly based on 1st and 2nd year modules, covering introductory calculus, analysis and abstract algebra.
I am currently the Director of IT at a leading Girls School in Blackheath and happy to tutor students in the Blackheath/Sidcup/Eltham area or back nearer West Malling where I live - plus tutor online as well. I have been teaching Computer Science in Blackheath for the last 10 years and keen to help students with their coding or understanding the theory required. I was also a network manager so have practical experience I can share with students. I like to use a lot of technology and quizzes to ensure students can test their knowledge and feel confident when taking any exams.
