Music has been my life’s passion and being able to share that passion with others is the best job in the world! Based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, your piano lessons are taught face to face in a purpose built studio. Whatever your starting point, age or preferred style of music I will tailor a course of lessons just for you. We can even learn online together with one-to-one video lessons. Your piano lessons will be relaxed and fun with structured learning at the heart of each and every lesson.
With 22 years experience of being a qualified primary and secondary classroom teacher and offer age appropriate lessons that are always fun and engaging. I can also offer tuition that supports students with special educational needs. There are no barriers to learning music. As well as playing on a modern Kawai upright piano we will have fun learning music theory by playing a range of percussion instruments, synthesisers and musical games.

I'm also really open in alternative repertoire, and non-conventional pieces, because I'm convinced that you can make a lot of progress working on any type of music, not just the exam or "traditional" classical repertoire.

I am a very patient piano teacher based in Prestwich near Bury and Manchester. I have almost 15 years experience in teaching both children and adults. I follow the ABRSM syllabus, and pupils may enter for exams if they wish or learn just for fun. I also teach music theory. All lessons are taught on a one-to-one basis. As well as teaching from my home, I offer lessons on Skype using a webcam which gives a clear overhead view of my piano keys to enable pupils to see demonstrations of the music they are taught.
