I hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oxford. My teaching repertoire includes GCSE Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, and all subjects related to Physics, Mathematics and Electrical Engineering.

I am a qualified teacher based in Oxford with a first class master's in physics from Cambridge University and a PGCE from Oxford University. I have eight years of experience as a teacher and I am enhanced DBS checked. I am currently offering a free taster lesson for students in the UK.
Combining a deep understanding of my subject with a wealth of teaching experience, I love helping students understand their subject, succeed in it, and enjoy it - not only excelling in exams, but mastering and enjoying the subject as well. By developing a thorough understanding of their subject as well as familiarity with exam questions and exam technique, I aim to help students grasp their subject in a way that makes sense to them, enabling both enjoyment and success in their studies.
I offer bespoke online physics, maths, further maths, and chemistry tuition tailored to the needs of my students. I can do A-level, GCSE, and KS3, and I am also able to offer training for the maths and physics olympiads. Typical lessons involve a mixture of exam questions coaching combined with interactive teaching on areas students find difficult, however I am happy to adjust my approach to students’ needs.

I have been tutoring maths, physics & chemistry GCSE/ A-Level and adult learners, for over 8 years, and have helped many students improve their exam results.
I have written over 20 books too (available on kindle or in paperback), mostly maths books.
I usually visit students in their homes, but also do lessons via Whatsapp (which works great as we can have phone and laptop open at the same time and send documents). During the Corona-virus shutdown, all lessons will be done via Whatsapp with payment via bank transfer please.

I am also an experienced KS2, KS3 and GCSE Science examiner, currently working and assessing both Year 10 and Year 11 GCSE examinations. I enjoy my teaching and I always try to ensure learning takes place in a relaxed and focussed situation. I am able to work in the student’s home subject to mutual availability, I have also tutored very succesfully online for over 6years both nationally in the UK and internationally with a variety of students. I am currently available some evenings depending on work and family life and weekends on a Saturday - this availability changes as people book in for lessons on a first come first served basis.

Hi, I'm Raya! I'm a recent BSc Biochemistry graduate from Imperial College London. I completed my A levels in 2021 (Covid) in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. In which I achieved A*AA, respectively. In terms of GCSE's, I sat my Biology GCSE early (Year 10) which I achieved a Grade 9 in. I also got 9's in Chemistry and geography, and 8s in physics and psychology. Overall, I got 999887765 :). I understand and always emphasize on the importance of exam practice and due to my experience, I am an expert when it comes to general exam technique too! When I teach, I always try my best to give wider context and examples to boost understanding when needed. I graduated from Amman Academy High School in 2015. I took the International Baccalaureate Diploma and achieved the full score of (45/45) (Four Higher Level subjects). I completed my bachelor's degree, majoring in both mechanical and biological engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, www.*** GPA. I did private tutoring in Amman for college students and high school students in A levels and IB Math subjects, Chemistry and Physics SL and HL, both with the material and with internal reports. I am a Bioanalytical Scientist with a Bachelor's degree in Human and Medical science and therefore have a very good understanding of Biology and Chemistry.
