I am a very committed and enthusiastic individual. I am able to teach Biology, Chemistry, Urdu & Islamic studies to pupils aged between 11-16. I have teaching qualification plus one year of teaching experience and currently teaching full-fulltime in a secondary school in Birmingham. Teaching I believe is the noblest of professions whereby teachers play a pivotal role in helping form the society and civilisation for the future. We aim to inspire and motivate individuals to reach for their highest aspirations making them realise that with their dedication they can really achieve anything they want. I have received extensive in-house training and guidance and, in some instances, practised for whole school issues e. g. safeguarding and child protection, health and safety, the principals of good assessment, effective academic mentoring, planning for successful teaching, National priorities including literacy and numeracy and developing a growth mind-set. I have been fortunate enough to have gained valuable in-depth knowledge of the curriculum and subject pedagogy during my teaching career so far. I feel the current knowledge and experience that I have gained while working in an inner-city School has proven to be very beneficial in ensuring that I satisfy the requirements of a tutor. if you are looking for some catch up sessions during summer break, last min revision for end of topic test or long term tutoring, just get in touch and i will do whatever I can to help!

Having worked as a tutor for over 5 years, I have a wealth of experience in various exam boards and subjects. I believe lessons should be engaging and interesting for both the student and tutor, in order to facilitate the best learning experience. Normally, I like to use exam-style questions in order to gauge the student’s knowledge and work on their weaker topics, enabling them to answer questions confidently and clearly- gaining higher marks.
A lot of students could be excellent at a subject, if they are properly engaged. As someone who is passionate about tutoring and equally wants your child to do well, your child will enjoy their lesson whilst learning key tips to ace their exams. There is no room for lengthy explanations, dull note-taking or constant listening in my lessons.
As a child, I remember hating certain subjects because the teacher made the lesson really boring and unengaging. After independent study at A-Level and university, I realised how interesting some topics were and the importance of keeping students interested, which essentially means being interested as a tutor yourself.

Experience and diligence are the key consistencies of a successful teacher, both of which I have taken the effort of acquiring over more than 15 years of my high-yielding teaching career. I am an IB EXAMINER (BIOLOGY AND IAs) for the past 8 years and a CIE EXAMINER (BIOLOGY) for the last 3 years. My specialization lies in Biology, ESS and Chemistry from GCSE to A/IB levels however, my experience is synonymous across the educational board as I’ve also written Personal Statements and essay assignments for university students.
As previously mentioned, I have consistent experience in writing university and A level assignments for various subjects ie. Science and various social sciences. I find my teaching to transcend the synthetic geographical borders and time zones, having taught from Dubai and Malaysia, to the US, India as well as the UK. With my vast, and still every-growing, experience of teaching hundreds of students online and in person, I’ve sufficiently grasped the ability to get across challenging content and achieve measurable results.
I would be more than obliged to be contacted for any of your teaching/writing needs and further discuss availability.

I currently work in a secondary school in the West Midlands and have been teaching all 3 disciplines for many years. I am a very experienced teacher with an excellent record of pupil acheivement. I believe that any pupil can do well and make excellent progress if they are taught not only the correct knowledge and content for the exam board but also the skills needed to answer GCSE questions in the exam. I attend exam board hub meetings regularly and keep up to date with any changes and recommendations from previous examinations. This information is crucial to pass on to pupils so that they know what the exam questions are asking and how to create a response which will score maximum marks in their examination. I am very organised and enjoy planning creative activities which ensure maximum progress for www.*** ;

As a student I achieved the highest grades in GCSEs and A-levels in my school's history for science and maths subjects. For this reason my school hired me to become a tutor for other students to help in their revision and coursework to help them achieve the grades that I www.*** ;
I also tutored during university to help other Master's of Pharmacy students to understand various topics. At the same time as tutoring these students I was completing my own dissertation, however I always showed patience and made time for other students.
My experience as a tutor and the excellent grades I achieved have helped me to become an highly knowledgable tutor with the skills to help other students achieve the highest grades.

I am a qualified and experienced science teacher, tutor and GCSE examiner. I believe that learning takes place in a calm and supportive environment and understand that all students differ in their individual learning styles.
I have 13 years teaching experience in both State and Independent schools, in the UK and abroad and have held a Head of Science position. I offer support for both mainstream schooled students as they prepare for the examinations and also home schooled students where my role is to introduce new material, progressing through the relevant specification. I also offer tuition for international students following the IGCSE specification. Confidence is developed through support and encouragement, ultimately leading the student to the exam.
My approach is tailored to the needs of the student. Most frequently the process will include a detailed explanation of key concepts as required by the student to reinforce comprehension followed by examination practice. Scientific literacy will be promoted through the analysis of past examination papers with emphasis on the correct interpretation of exam questions. Students will be guided as they develop the skill of structuring coherent and accurate responses as demanded by examiners. Flexibility is key and the pace is adapted to the the needs and ability of the student.
I specialise in exam preparation for GCSE Science and A level Biology for both school aged students, mature learners and those who are home schooled. I have a proven track record of assisting my students to achieve at least their target grade and beyond. DBS checked, Safeguarding trained and immediately available online or when regulations permit, face to face.
