I currently work in a secondary school in the West Midlands and have been teaching all 3 disciplines for many years. I am a very experienced teacher with an excellent record of pupil acheivement. I believe that any pupil can do well and make excellent progress if they are taught not only the correct knowledge and content for the exam board but also the skills needed to answer GCSE questions in the exam. I attend exam board hub meetings regularly and keep up to date with any changes and recommendations from previous examinations. This information is crucial to pass on to pupils so that they know what the exam questions are asking and how to create a response which will score maximum marks in their examination. I am very organised and enjoy planning creative activities which ensure maximum progress for pupils.

I am a highly experienced teacher, since 2003, and have been a head of department since 2008.
I have successfully tutored students, across the ability range, since 2009.
My specialism is A-level chemistry (all exam boards, including OCR Salters) but I also have considerable experience tutoring the sciences and maths at GCSE.

I have worked as an independent home tutor for many years, developing my clientele both through online tutoring websites and locally. I have experience in one-to-one tutoring as well as small groups. Delivering tutoring in KS1 to GCSE English and Maths, as well as science up to A-level standards. I have experience in teaching children of all abilities, including those with English as the second language.
Having worked in Learn Tuition Centre allowed me to work in a classroom environment, facilitating small group-style teaching. This has allowed me to develop experience in addressing the most common subjects that students may struggle with and teaching in accordance to current exam boards standards including Edexcel and AQS.
Throughout my degrees I have completed two dissertations, literature reviews, critical appraisals, case histories and reflective pieces of writing. As the leading Physician Associate in my GP surgery, I have been involved in teaching and mentoring pf physician associate students and trainee clinical pharmacists. Further teaching experience includes clinical presentations during staff meetings.
Having worked as a teaching assistant, academic mentor and tutor, I have developed invaluable teaching experience, which I aim to translate into my role as a practising Physician Associate through teaching students and other healthcare staff. I believe that my experience allows me to provide well-structured schedules and teaching techniques to my students.

I am a hard-working and dedicated A* student who sat their A-Levels in the most recent 2024 cycle. I believe this will work to my favour as my knowledge of the syllabus as well as my own techniques that I used to tackle various question types are still in tact. Furthermore, I feel as though this will enable me to connect on a closer level with incoming Y12s and incoming Y13s to navigate their journey with A-Levels. Having received all 9s at GCSE and top grades throughout AS + A-Levels, this opportunity is perfect for me to help others who may be struggling with maths, biology or chemistry. In terms of more about me, I received 4/4 medicine offers and I am predicted A*A*A* for A-Levels 2024.
I attended a selective grammar school for 7 years and so can tutor students from Y4 and above in 11+ preparations too.
