I am a Science teacher based in Liverpool and have been teaching for 3 years. I teach GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) and have experience with both AQA Trilogy and Synergy specifications. I offer tutoring for GCSE Science and AS/A-Level Biology via online sessions. Sessions are tailored to the individual student's needs to meet their goals and build confidence in tackling the content.
Sessions are taught via Skype/Google Meet using a shared screen Powerpoint which is also provided to students at the end of each session. The focus of each session is knowledge recap, improving exam technique using a range of exam-style questions as well as addressing concerns about learning time that has been lost during the Covid-19 pandemic and ensuring students are prepared once they return to the classroom.

By tailoring my teaching methods to suit their individual preferences, I empower students to discover their own pathways to studying. Moreover, I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, recognizing the common confusion students face in approaching various types of exam questions. By guiding students through diverse question formats and teaching them effective strategies,. Many students feel confused about how to study, so by working closely with each student, we explore different study methods and find what works best for them.
