An experienced Math teacher with flexible style individualised to facilitate learning & build confidence to take tests and succeed, as well as providing consultancy and training services. I use several resources to help my students.
I have over forty years' experience of private tuition to students aged 2 to adult. I have taught maths and English to all ages, including preparing students for entrance exams. I also teach science up to KS3. I have worked with those for whom English is not their first language, to help them improve their skills. I also have extensive experience of working with students with various kinds of special educational need such as autism, ADHD, delayed development, etc.
I take pride in creating a programme of work which addresses the needs of each individual and helps them to build their confidence as well as competence.
I usually work in my home but can also offer online sessions. As I am moving to a new area, I am currently only taking online students. This will change once I move.

Having over 7 years of tutoring experience, I believe I would fit right into this role. I am a qualitified primary school teacher with QTS. I first assess the child in order to understand their strength and weaknesses. I then plan lessons according to what the child needs more help in. I organise and manage each lesson so I can have a record of what the child has done and what needs to be done. I am able to multi-task and meet students learning needs individually or in a group setting, as well as understand each child is unique and will have different learning abilities. I will be patience, have empathy and positive attitude towards each child. Going above and beyond for my student is what I feel is necessary so I know they are learning and are comfortbale to ask for extra help through email or text.
