Hello, and welcome to my tutor profile! My name is Ayesha , and I am a passionate tutor with a love for helping students achieve their academic goals. Whether you're struggling with a specific concept or just need some extra guidance to excel in your coursework, I am here to help.
My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that every student has the potential to succeed, and that it is my job to unlock that potential through personalized instruction, patience, and encouragement. I work closely with each of my students to understand their unique learning style and develop a customized approach that fits their needs. I can truly understand a student's nature and I am here to help you with my personal experience because I was a student as well. I can help you with other subjects as well instead of math.
I am a qualified Primary teacher, holding QTS certification. Considerable experience in the Private Sector, as well as TA work in a mainstream and SEN school environment. I am an experienced minis rugby coach (having coached from U6-U8's); an Assistant Beaver leader, and shortly to become a Scout leader.
I am a final year History student at Bristol. I have lots of experience working in primary school as well as someone to one tuition. I am confident, enthusiastic and really enjoy teaching looking to become a teacher after I graduate.
I usually teach for around an hour typically to primary school age but I am looking to teach some older years as well. I like to keep the lesson interactive not focusing on the same exercise for too long. I find primary school-age children struggle to focus on the same thing for a long time. However, what I like about tutoring one-to-one or in small groups is that it gives you a lot of space to be flexible depending on who I am teaching.
I'm now in my fifth year as a newly qualified primary school teacher at the Ridgeway Primary school in Whitely, Reading. I have mainly taught across Key Stage 2 but have some experience in Key stage 1. I am looking to offer support during these difficult times for parents homeschooling their children and I am doing this free of charge. I have experience and a substantial subject knowledge in grammar, literature and maths at primary level. I am currently working from home and have a high availability.
