Hi. My name is Sean O. and I am a fully qualified maths tutor and teacher with a master’s degree in mathematics and a PGCE from the University of Nottingham. I offer one to one private tuition for students of mathematics from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level Further maths and occasionally teach Primary as well.
I completed my PGCE in secondary mathematics in 2021 and secured a full time position at the OFSTED Outstanding school, George Spencer Academy, Nottingham. I have since started working privately to have more flexible hours, to allow me to pursue my career as a GB athlete, whilst continuing to follow my passion for education.

I am a graduate from university of nottingham in computer science. I love teaching physics and maths .computer science is more about algorithms and logic which is similar to www.*** enjoyed learning physics in my high school and ended up with good www.*** up in top 1 percentile in engineering entrance test which around 1 million students www.*** test involved physics and www.*** have mentored lot of A level students and they have had success with me .I am very patient and listen to each and every doubt of students very carefully. I’ve been a freelance maths tutor for 2 years & helped students with special needs and autism as well as ADHD as I’m someone who has these conditions. Due to this,I wanted to make a change to students lives so I’m currently a secondary student math
I would love to help other children going through GCSE's and SAT's and to boost their confidence. I hope to make children realise that with the right mindset, one that they realise if they work hard, they can do it and achieve good results. As someone who has just finished their GCSE's, the subjects are very much fresh in my mind. I would love to use any tips and tricks in which I have been taught that may differ to any others they have been given and to help them understand more.
I have had experience working in primary schools for almost two years now, working with children with SEND and SEMH difficulties as well as other children to help them achieve their full academic potential. I have delivered 1:1 and small group based interventions in age ranges from 4 years old in their early years all the way up to 11 in the run up to SATs. I have spent a lot of time working with children who had the academic level of several years below their age group however after sometime of 1:1 intervention they have thrived and caught up with their peers. Not only have I worked with children for their academics but I have also worked with children to help give them the opportunity to learn self regulation and mental health support. This has come from a wide range of support programmes such as zones of regulation and social detective. I pride myself on how fun and engaging I like to make my time with children and with how much of a difference emotion coaching can make to their lives. In the run up to SATS I worked in delivering intervention based lessons to our cusp students to help them go on to achieve greater depth in their SATs but also to help children who believed they couldn’t do their SATs.

I graduated with a first-class degree in Biotechnology. I'm an adaptable, flexible, and resilient team player with a solid research background, extra laboratory experiences in a fast-paced environment with multidisciplinary team projects. I do lessons online (skype, zoom and messenger) and face to face lesson only at my home if students live up to 20 miles. Biology, chemistry, physics and maths are my favourite subjects that I have been teaching and tutoring since 1990. Also I am a part time lecturer and researcher for genetics at the university since 2009 till present time. I am very eager to tutor as teaching is a great job. Maths is my tool to teach and use in the three sciences as it will help students succeed more. I teach first few 15 minutes or twenty minutes explaining the ideas then the rest of the hour I work with the students on practicing how to answer different type of questions regarding the ideas we have went over. It is not an hour or two to write only notes but to work with the students to be practical using the ideas in questions, how to apply them and why to learn about them. lesson should be interesting to attract students to love to learn and enjoy studying with me as well to leave the tutoring hour feeling there was a gain of knowledge, practice techniques to answer the questions and no need to go home and revise again and mostly to gain confidence. Аll this to be done from September not two weeks to exams.
