I have over 12 years of teaching experience in waldorf schools in Germany and Switzerland as well as a private teacher for students in USA, UK, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Bulgaria.

I am a graduate who has finished studying Maths with Statistics at Royal Holloway University and I have good maths and science teaching skills. Along with that, I know what techniques are needed to answer exam questions, so that they can do really well, and for them to find their true potential, but most importantly, for students to have a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning. In terms of teaching, I can teach maths, biology and chemistry at KS3, GCSE and A levels. I teach physics at GCSE and at KS3 level. I have 4 years experience as a private tutor and I teach students in the best possible standards as possible as I am very patient and I understand students difficulties and needs and therefore allow them to succeed. I have had 4 years experience in teaching GCSE and A level subjects, which are maths, chemistry, biology and physics. I have also taught geography in the past. I have taught students in person for the past 4 years. For in person teaching, I have taught in libraries and at schools. The first lesson will be a trial lesson, just to introduce myself and also give an indication of where you are working at for your subjects, so that I can plan the lessons according to your needs further forward. At additional request, I will be able to teach Statistics and Further Maths.
For online teaching, I have taught students using Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meets.
Additionally, I have 4 years of experience in teaching students with SEN, as I have taught these students online and in person. I have taught students with ADHD, autism, anxiety, dyslexia and emotional difficulties.

I taught maths from GCSE to STEP at an academy in Essex from 2009 to 2017 and at another Essex academy from 2020 to 2024. In both academies I taught GCSE Mathematics A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics and STEP. About half of my students have been recommended to me. I have been a private tutor since September 1987. I do not cover D1 or D2 or Modelling With Algorithms at A level. I have a first class honours degree from Goldsmith College London where I won the Stanley Hails Memorial Prize.

I am a teacher/ lecturer with over five years of experience teaching mathematics to HNC and BTEC students at both university and high school levels.
I am an experienced Mathematics tutor, helping students from GCSE to university level for over twelve years. I have a BSc in Mathematics from Imperial College, London and an MSc in Financial Mathematics from Warwick University.

INITIAL SESSION: I take the opportunity to understand more about the student, past exam results, other subjects being studied and future goals – this enables me to plan further sessions tailored to the areas which need most attention at the right time.
CONFIDENCE: I try to help students gain confidence in their ability by working on areas of weakness first. I try to break problems down into manageable chunks and explain those parts that do not make sense in more detail, using my communication skills to explain concepts in a simple way.
HOMEWORK PROBLEMS: these are set to consolidate what is covered during the sessions and to identify gaps in the learning; so feedback from this process is crucial to ensure that progress is continually being made.
EXAM PREPARATION: more emphasis on past papers, consolidation of knowledge and exam strategy, but this depends on individual circumstances. I provide my own solutions to past papers questions as needed.

NHS Doctor with over 10 years of experience studying and completing exams and over 7 years teaching Maths, Biology and Chemistry for KS3, GCSE and A Level. My tuition approach is listed below.
Each lesson begins with a run-through of the topic and explanation of key concepts with opportunities for pupils to ask questions. Students are then provided with high yield exam questions and worksheets to complete. Questions are then marked together to highlight areas of strength and areas of improvement. An emphasis is always maintained on exam technique during each lesson. Assessments to determine student improvement are provided every 4-6 weeks.
All students are taught how to study effectively using two evidence-based study techniques:
1) Active Recall - Here students create useful revision questions to test their memory of certain topics
2) Spaced Repetition - Here students are taught how to strategically review topics regularly and boost their chances of remembering important exam content throughout the year and leading up to exams.
My classes are always tailored with a personalised programme for each and every student and remain friendly and engaging. All resources including specialised notes for each exam board, revision questions and exam question related to the tutees exam board are provided free of charge. Tuition goes beyond the `hour slot` as students are able to contact me via phone, email and tutor hunt messaging. I also remain engaged with the lesson and do not `clock-watch`.
