My science courses will be online, and consist of 2 hour sesions every weekend. For the duration of the session i will follow a 3 step protocol which i believe is the absolute BEST method to retain information whilst ingraining exam techniques into your learning. First understanding, of course, understanding every aspect of a topic is pivitol thus the first section of the lesson will consist of teaching with questions along the way from both me and my students. Next, active recall, this is a way in which students will learn to explain what they have just learnt in their own words, making tweeks to their vocabulary ensureing it is hitting those target points. Active recal is also an essential method to retain information as students learn how to personalise explainations so they can remember them. Its what works best for you! Lat of all, PRACTICE, practise papers is what adds the finishing touch to an answer, its hitting those points on the mark scheme. I believe this is the best type of resourse a student can utilise.
