This course is for students that are confident with foundation GCSE and looking to get a strong basic knowledge of topics that only appear in the higher GCSE.
I am an experienced maths tutor (5+ years) with a degree in Mathematics and currently studying for MSc. I’ve created this course because I noticed lots of my students working around a grade 5-6 struggle with the same topics (e.g. surds, histograms). We will break down and practice each topic in 1h online lessons and there will be a short homework assignment after each lesson.
The course is ideal for students who are in a middle set or concerned that they will find Higher GCSE difficult.
Suitable for both Edexcel and AQA exam boards.
It would make an excellent summer program for students going into years 10 or 11.
This course is also suitable for KS3 students who are looking to get ahead on some of the higher GCSE topics. You should be confident with most foundation content (please message if you’re not sure and we can discuss).
