This is an online group course were we will be developing your language and exam skills. If you are interested in 1-1 lessons only or you would like specific preparation for GCSE Foundation exams, please contact me for further details.
In the 12 sessions, we will look at common misconceptions and errors as well as look into your individual needs and targets.
The course could be divided as follows, but adaptability if key to meet your needs, so the plan may change as we go along:
Lesson 1 - Understanding the exam, getting to know your strengths and targets. Speaking practice.
Lessons 2 & 3 - Studying and practising Photocards and Role Plays. How can you secure the highest possible marks?
Lessons 4 & 5 - Speaking and writing: learning key vocabulary and understanding the use of your speaking exam for your writing paper.
Lessons 6, 7 & 8 - Writing exam: practising grammatical points and understanding the mark scheme.
Lessons 9 - Speaking practice before GCSE speaking exams (retrieval)
Lessons 10 - 11 - Reading and listening: analysis of some more problematic questions. How can you avoid mistakes?
