Running from Monday 28th June to Friday 2nd July (virtually this year), this is very much aligned with our ideals, and we're very proud to sponsor the Festival.
What Is the Love Tutoring Festival?
The Love Tutoring Festival has the twin aims of raising the profile of tutoring and providing expert content to help tutors build their skills. Spread over five days and leading up to World Tutors' Day on Friday 2nd July, a packed programme offers keynote presentations, workshops (with a Certificate of Completion provided for each), live podcasts and practical demonstrations on topics ranging from marketing your courses to adapting classroom skills to tutoring, and assessing students to supporting their mental health.
This year, needless to say, the Festival will be held online — but that's not necessarily a bad thing. While we all love being live in a room with the speaker and other delegates, there are also plenty of advantages to an online event, such as:

Who Is Qualified Tutor?
Qualified Tutor describe themselves as "a grassroots movement led by tutors and school-leaders to raise standards in the tutoring profession". Unlike mainstream teaching, tutoring has been left largely unregulated and, while there are many awesome tutors, they're not always easy to pick out from the less effective ones.
That's why Qualified Tutor introduced the Qualification for Tutors, and an independent Quality Mark for tutors to stand out in a crowded space. Tutors who achieve the required standard to gain the Level 3 Qualification demonstrate their commitment to CPD and professionalism in tutoring. This is solid evidence that can assure students and parents that the tutor will offer high standards of teaching, safety and reflection in learning.
The Love Tutoring Festival, which will run again in January 2022, is an event organised by Qualified Tutor to showcase both tutoring in general and the importance of meeting other tutors to professional development, as well as equipping tutors with extra skills to help them meet and exceed their standards.
