I have a First Class English Literature MA degree, with a prospective job as a solicitor at the French firm, Gide Loyrette Nouel. I achieved an A* in English Literature at A level (A*A*AB) as well as in my IGCSEs (9A* 1A). I held an Academic and Art scholarship in secondary school. I am a friendly and reliable character, with over 4 years of teaching experience. I have taught A Level, IGCSEs, as well as primary school children - achieving A*s, and grades 7 upwards. I have also volunteered for the Rugby Portobello Trust, on both a 1:1 basis as well as in groups, reaching a wide range of subjects. Having taught such a range of year groups both privately and volunteering, I have a lot of experience in adapting my teaching style, including the use of a variety of exercises and resources to engage my students. I am enthusiastic and goal oriented and am keen to bring out the best in each student I teach! Additional achievements and interests include: Edinburgh University's Race to Paris in honor of Street Child, RAD Ballet Advanced Foundation and Intermediate (both with Distinction); member of Canterbury Cathedral Crypt Choir; Trinity Voice Grade 8 with Merit, ABRSM Piano Grade 5 with Merit.
