At the Cheongye Kwan, practitioners base their training on minimal movements with maximum effect and speed. The system works by using any technique that an individual finds effective in any given situation, whether kicking, punching, locking or grappling, then flowing effortlessly between them. The Cheongye Kwan is referred to as a Philosophy and not a style.
Albert Einstein said "you cant change a system by using the same kind of thinking that was used to create it". "To improve, we must change and evolve. We must adapt and exceed what we are taught" - Barry C.

I was born and raised in Germany. I went to Australia for nearly two years before moving to England in 2017. I gained vast experiences throughout my life so far. I currently work as a EAL Learning Mentor in a seconadry school in Lancashire and know what it's like to learn a new language. I teach and work with 120 EAL pupils from different countries all over the world. But I also run my own German after school club in my school and the pupils and staff love it. I do miss Germany sometimes and thought it would be a nice opportunity to teach someone else a bit of German.

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I qualified as a teacher in 2013 and have a degree in Mathematics within secondary education (first class honours) and qualified teacher status. I have taught in secondary schools and colleges around the north west. As well as teaching I am an examiner for one of the main boards and know the ins and outs of the exam process. I also love technology and am able to tutor online. If you have any questions please feel free to ask, as a parent myself I know that you will want to pick the right person so no question is silly or too small.
Please also look at my facebook page for reviews
Thank you again, Anthony

I have over 9 years successful experience tutoring students from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. The subjects I teach include: - • 11 plus KS2 -Maths, English & Verbal reasoning preparation • Science – Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Key Stage 1 - 4) • Mathematics (Key Stage 1 - 4) • Computer Science (Key Stage 3-4) • Design & Technology (Key Stage 3-4) I am an experienced and enthusiastic tutor with a strong passion for teaching. I have gained experience working with whole class groups and individual pupils. I have also had the opportunity to work those with various additional needs which has enabled me to improve my skills in areas such as communication, behaviour management and maintaining a flexible approach to teaching styles to meet individual needs. I have supported hundreds of students, and their parents or carers, to identify strategies that enable the attainment above and beyond their subject target grades.
Tutoring Approach
My mission is to make a positive difference in the community’s children's lives through Education. I aim to encourage an enthusiasm for lifelong learning, for students of all ages, by unlocking learning potential and building confidence. Prior to the commencement of tutoring, I offer a free consultation session & free assessment to review the exact level of the students. Then with Students and their parents/carer, we review the current academic report with empathy and listen to the concerns surrounding the subject, including barriers to learning and discussion of appropriate learning styles. I subsequently construct an individual syllabus-specific course of study, aimed at achieving above and beyond the target grade. I provide regular feedback to parents/carers to ensure complete transparency and offer extra hours of tutoring if needed to cover the syllabus or exam preparation.
