The way my lessons will be conducted will be mostly through revision and practise questions, where the student will provide a topic area, initially I will help re jog their memory of the topic they require help with, then help prepare them for the exam through past paper practise exam questions. By doing this it allows the student to be prepared for most different outcomes possible for their summer exams, thus acquiring them the best grade.
Both my previous two students were taught in person, and I was there to help them prepare for the exams by going through exam questions, allowing them to give it a go then whenever they got stuck, I was there to help them and show them where they went wrong. Where possible, after they had made a mistake or struggled on a question, I gave them a similar question for them to see where they went wrong and how to overcome it.
Achieved a 9 at GCSE level and an A* at A level in maths. Due to recent experience with public exams, I know the pressure students go under and the expectations they may have, my main job is to give them confidence to showcase their true ability that I hope to get the best possible grades, as can be seen by my previous two students.
GCSE level I took AQA and A level Edexcel, thus I am more experienced with those exam boards, however can offer support with most content as long as the syllabuses align with those I have taken. I have a high knowledge of GCSE curriculum for most exam boards, however for A level exam boards often differ more than GCSE, so if you do not take Edexcel at A level, I may have gaps in knowledge. My confident areas of A level maths are pure and mechanics, however I am also skilled with statistics.
I offer mainly online tutoring service, with the aim of interacting the tutee with practise questions and detailed explanation.
Tutoring sessions will often be in the evening on weekdays, however I am flexible to change the session from week to week in order to fit in a session.
There is the possibility of in person tutoring for people who live in leeds (hyde park, headlingly area specifically.)
Please message me before booking a session, my number is 07504901843.
Thank you!

I have over 25 years of teaching in schools, exclusively inner city comprehensives, teaching A level for nearly all of that time. My students have consistently done well. I have successfully taught all aspects of A level: core, mechanics, statistics and decision. In addition, I have taught several aspects of further maths A level. I have also tutored extensively, privately and for an agency teaching small groups. I am passionate about the subject and I encourage my students to share this. I have two recently graduated sons so I am aware of the current situation for young people in education. I employ an interactive style, where there are lots of opportunities for students to feedback or ask questions.

Hi I am 22 years old, and I am currently training to be a primary school teacher with SEND.
I have experience with mainstream and SEND children, and believe that I will be able to meet the needs of your children.
I am willing to come to you if needed and if this is better for your child. Online may be easier because of my training, however I am willing to make the travel if needed.
Please get in touch if you are interested and we can set up an online meeting to discuss this.

As a professional qualified teacher I have worked in a wide range of educational establishments teaching various levels of ability and students with disabilities for decades. I have successfully tutored 121 and taught English to small group workshops in different environments. I believe all learning must be fun and my methods enable students to be motivated, achieve and engage in their learning. My passion for teaching is reflected in my long years of successful experience and student achievements. In addition, I have taught adults in tertiary education and ESOL learners, for example in migrant communities to integrate within British society. I am also available to help and proof-read educational texts such as disertations for degree level students.

I make all my lessons interactive so that way you have fun whilst learning ☺️ I know what it's like to hate studying, not having anything sink in but trying so hard. Let's give it a go, try a session out and take it from there.

I have always been passionate about music. That passion has allowed me to travel the world, and I have met the greatest friends I could have hoped for all because of our shared interest in music. I have shared stages and conversations with my hero’s and the transferable skills I have learned from studying music have meant that I have always found employment. I have vast teaching experience, I currently hold a full-time role teaching music production at the undergraduate level on the Popular Music Performance Course at Leeds Arts University. Previous teaching experience has included; Peripatetic instrument tuition (Guitar, Bass, Ukulele & Drums) at KS3, running creative software and computing workshops within Apple retail from Primary-age up to adults, and vocational workshops in audio production through the West Yorkshire police community fund.
I have a dedicated music studio space, that is set up for one to one tuition in my home. But I am equally comfortable in any setting including online. Please get in touch if you would like to learn more about learning more!

***Violin Lessons Made Easy!*** My add hoc fees:
£20 -30mins £26 - 45mins.
I can teach you how to play the violin from beginners up to intermediate level playing with personalised 1:1 coaching online, you will also receive audio/visual recordings to help with your practice! I aim to inspire and instil confidence in all of my students and to promote a positive and focussed learning experience in all my lessons :)
I have been playing Violin for 20 years and I have played in various bands of different genres such as Folk/Rock, Klezmer, Renaissance, Baroque and Classical styles. My style of playing and teaching is eclectic and encompasses various styles taught and influenced by classical teachers, tutors at Leeds Music College and fellow band members and music sessions growing up.
I love collaborating with other musicians from different backgrounds and enjoy performing to audiences where I have performed with a dancer and story-teller producing classical and improvised work in schools, libraries, art galleries and festivals.
As well as performance work, I have taught violin for 9 years teaching adults and children of all ages, preparing them for both exam syllabuses ABRSM and Trinity College London exams and gaining good results 100% pass rate! I predominantly teach online now which I believe allows me to offer more learning support to students via audio recordings, bite size help with practice. My students love this and it really helps them keep on track.
I can provide students with the opportunity to learn popular and folk pieces of music too should they wish. I encourage all students to develop their 'musical ear' and to build up knowledge and confidence. I can also train students to improvise depending on their individual interests and where appropriate I can offer accompaniment on my guitar.
As well as teaching ABRSM classical syllabus, I am also taking on students that want to achieve a grade through the new Trinity Digital Classical Grade exams. This exam allows students to upload their video performances and submit their recordings directly to Trinity remotely, providing students full control than seen in other types of face to face exams.
Trinity offers students flexibility and the opportunity to play along with backing tracks from grade 1 up to grade 8 and submit once they are ready. I can offer support and recordings to prepare all students through this process. If you require more information please do send me a message :)
