Vira started play violin at the age of 7. She finished musical school and after in 2004 she entered musical college named after D. Sichynskyi (Ivano-Frankivsk). She has a bachelor degree in violin received at National Music Academy of Ukraine (Kyiv) where she studied with prof. B. Kotorovich and Certeficate from Ecole Normale de Paris Alfred Cortot (Paris) where her teacher was prof. A. Goulard.
Vira won numerous national and international competitions,participated in violin masterclasses with such renown violinists as Z. Bron, O. Parkhomenko, K. Schatz. She had played with Symphony orchestras in Ukraine. She worked in Ivano-Frankivsk Philarmonic Symphony Orchestra from 2019 to 2021 (Ukraine).
She performed as a soloist and chamber musician in such countries as Ukraine, Poland, France, UK, Germany, Switzerland, USA, Spain. She participated in numerous musical festivals "Prykarpatska Vesna", "GogolFest" (Ukraine), "Finca Ustus Franz"(Spain), Landesmusicakademie Ochsenhausen (Germany).
Starting from 2016 she created chamber music progect "Concert-Classic" for performing music with collegues, firstly in Kyiv and after in London. She and team organised around 20 concerts in Ukraine an 2 in London. Project was recognise by Elle l'Ukraine and L'Officiel Hommes.
I am a Creative Vocal/Violist working as a performer and Music Teacher in South London. I have over 10 years experience as a violist and vocalist and completed part of my education at the BRIT School for performing arts where i studied for 2 years. I give lessons online and in person. I have played professionally in an Orchestra and a quartet with both classical and modern music and love to perform vocally with my band. I am a professional violinist, violist and conductor, studying for a PhD in Music at the University of Cambridge. As a Supervisor in the Faculty of Music, I teach undergraduate music students at Cambridge. I also teach conducting, violin, viola, and chamber music at the Saffron Walden Centre for Young Musicians in Essex. With over nine years of tutoring experience, I also offer private tuition in violin, viola, orchestral conducting, music, music theory, philosophy, history, essay and dissertation skills, english literature, classical civilisation and violin performance.
From the age of 17, I have taught violin and viola to a variety of students, ranging from children and adults beginning their studies, to more advanced performers looking to improve their technical facility and performance skills.
Alongside my MPhil studies at Cambridge, in which I specialised in the cultural history and musical aesthetics of Germany and France in the Long Nineteenth Century, I began working as a freelance academic tutor, and taught Music, History, Philosophy, English Literature, Dissertation Skills, and Classics to A-Level Students. I have since developed two years’ experience, in which I have taught over 900+ hours of educational content with a diversity of tutoring organisations and online education platforms. Approach to Teaching
– I favour a structured approach to teaching. I devise lesson plans in advance of every lesson, catered to the student's specific needs. I also inform the design of my classes through a constructive dialogue with my students. This enables me to structure my lessons within a curriculum that meets my students' specific educational needs, and serves to enable my students to achieve tangible improvements in their academic performance and musical ability.
Academic Tuition
– My academic lessons tend to be structured around specific sections of the syllabus, or particular topics that students require help with.
– I employ a seminar style format, in which I flesh out ideas with the aid of quotations, other audio-visual resources, and analytical commentary which my students can use to develop essays, essay plans, revision tools, and exam revision packs.
– I use Powerpoint to provide students with a variety of resources and visual stimuli.
– I structure my lesson plans with a view to providing short points of rest or temporary closure, in which students are able to ask questions about the content. I am also happy for students to interrupt the flow of the lesson if a burning question arises.
Musical Performance
– Violin lessons tend to be carefully planned to focus on specific technical aspects of performance. To train musicality, I often teach this through the use of Kreutzer and Fiorillo etudes, Dont studies, and also pieces of repertoire catered to the student's musical interests and technical requirements.
– I am open to considering student repertoire suggestions if they are particularly passionate about a certain piece.
Lesson Structure
– Academic lessons tend to be 45–60 minutes in length, but I can adapt my teaching schedule to provide students with additional support if needed.
– Typically violin lessons range in length from 30 minutes to an hour, but I am flexible: I am more than happy to devise a lesson structure that caters for a student's requirements.

Dominique is a recent Master's graduate from the Royal College of Music and has teaching experience of over five years. In line with her passion for sharing music, she believes that anyone can succeed at learning to play an instrument with the right support and environment. Using some elements of the Suzuki method, such as listening, imitation, and memorisation, and combining these with note-reading, rhythm, and musicianship skills (playing alongside other musicians/recording), Dominique can see her pupils make significant progress in each lesson. Because playing an instrument is physically challenging, it is essential to spend a constant amount of personal time for practice between lessons, which Dominique recognizes from her own experience as demanding. This is why, in each lesson, she discusses and makes a plan with her pupil regarding the practice structure, as well as being available for any questions during the week, on the phone and via email.
I have graduated in Violin at the Conservatorio di Musica " www.*** da Palestrina" of Cagliari-Italy and in Viola at the Conservatorio di Musica "G. Verdi" of Milan-Italy. My professional activity led me to work in several orchestras as performer, and in institutions as upper- string and chamber music teacher. I lived and worked in Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, and since 2012 I made London my home, where I developed further teaching experience within the British system. Musica Nova, the International Academy of Music, is a unique bilingual establishment in the UK that combines the best of British and Russian principles of teaching and offers music lessons and complex Certificate programmes for children (starting as early as 3. 5 years old) and adults (up to advanced professional level).
It has six categories of classes geared to maximise the potential of the student in musical styles and genres as diverse as classics, jazz, pop, dance, and drama. Teachers
All teachers are highly qualified professional musicians with a Conservatoire education, and with vast teaching experience with legal working status in the UK. All new teachers are carefully assessed and vetted in accordance with DFES regulations and employment legislation and with the Musica Nova’s own quality control procedures.
Lessons and Curriculum
Lessons take place in soundproof studios, equipped with pianos and elegantly designed to bring a sense of intimacy and discipline to the teaching. Both one-to-one and group sessions of up to eight students, are run at the Academy to fit in with students and parent’s busy lifestyles. If requested, lessons can also take place at client’s home (within the London area) and online.
The programmes are specially designed to lead and direct students from very first steps in music to Certificate (Grades 1 – 8) and Degree programmes (Performing and Teaching Diplomas) with participation in concerts, recording projects, performances at the international festivals and competitions. The ‘Music Wonderland’ is an innovative authoring programme offered to younger students. In close collaboration with child psychologists it assists in teaching music to children with dyslexia, speech and concentration problems.
In 2014 the Musica Nova introduced new educational programmes. Free concert events and workshops popularising good quality classical and contemporary music are open for children and adults in the Camden Russian communities in London.
Exams
Every year over 200 students are successfully assessed and receive Diplomas from major national examination boards. Students continue further music education in colleges and conservatoires in the UK (Royal Academy of Music, Royal Music College, Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, Cambridge and Oxford Universities) and Russia (State Conservatoire in Saint Petersburg, Gnessin Institution in Moscow).
Performances and Competitions
Students and teachers of the "Musica Nova" Academy have successfully performed in front of the members of the Royal Family, members of Parliament, politicians and celebrities.

We help students prepare for all main grade exam boards, ABRSM, Trinity, Rock School, RGT.
We have a team of 30 highly experienced tutors fully DBS checked with a post graduate education on their instrument.
We also run school exam , SATS, 11+ booster sessions for small groups.
We believe in making learning fun and enjoyable while helping students achieve a high quality outcome.
We are dedicated in making learning music available to all regardless of background and ability especially low income families and vulnerable groups.
