I have been working in schools since 2004, initially as a Teaching Assistant and then wanting to become a teacher, which I achieved in 2014. I am very passionate about working with parents, children and other adults that help move children forward, through developing their confidence to achieve this.
I believe that my skills and guidance, I can help children to reach their potential. I have worked with various children with different needs. I can help children to succeed and enjoy their learning and making it fun, but effective and tailored to their individual needs.
I am available to help with all primary subjects. I am experienced in Read Write Inc, Jolly Phonics and Letters and Sounds Phonic schemes.
I can tailor a individual education plan to your child's needs and abilities.

As a passionate and dedicated educator with seven years of teaching experience, includiing five years in the challenging classrooms of London and two years in the vibrant educational landscape of the UAE. I specialise in maths and English interventions for students who require an extra push to achieve their full potential. My commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment has been key in helping my past students excel in their tests and assessments. One of my key strengths lies in my ability to identify and address the individual learning styles and needs of my students. I firmly believe in the power of differentiated instruction and I students’ various learning styles, thus, I modify my teaching techniques to accommodate various learning paces and styles. This approach not only ensures that my students comprehend the core concepts thoroughly but also instills in them the confidence to apply their knowledge effectively. I take great pride in the success stories of my students, and I am particularly passionate about supporting students who may struggle in a classroom environment. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and encouragement in helping students overcome their challenges and reach their full potential. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment where every student feels valued, motivated, and inspired to succeed. My vast experience across all primary education years, specifically years 2 & 6, has allowed me to understand the requirements of the curriculum and the intellectual development of the child each year. Being raised in a challenging area of London myself, it has allowed the children to find a sense of familiarity and comfortability and strive to become the best they can be; not only within the classroom but also outside of it.

I qualified from the University of Winchester with a first-class honours degree and have now been teaching for six years! I have taught in both Key Stage One and Key Stage Two and therefore have a vast understanding of the curriculum and how to support a range of children's needs. As I have been KS1 lead I have an excellent understanding of the KS1 SATS and Phonics Screening Check and how to support and prepare children for these exams. I therefore have a secure understanding of Phonics and how to teach children early reading and writing skills. During my teaching time I have been in charge of Maths for the school, so I have a range of resources and tools to support children in developing their mathematical skills. I would love to share my knowledge and expertise with you to either challenge your child further or to support them in areas of need.
