Welcome to my profile! I'm Adeline, and for the past 8 years, I've been sharing my passion for music through teaching. With 18 years of personal experience in piano playing and 6 years dedicated to refining my skills at a prestigious music school, I'm excited to offer comprehensive piano instruction. My qualifications include a Grade 6 in piano and Grade 4 in music theory from the esteemed London College of Music, as well as a Grade 4 in electronic keyboard from Trinity College. These certifications underscore my commitment to excellence and provide a solid foundation for my teaching approach. During my teaching tenure, I've had the privilege of guiding over 130 students, with a focus on classical and Western music. Notably, around 60 of my students chose to pursue formal examinations, and I'm proud to say that they achieved exceptional results, passing with distinction. My teaching philosophy centers on the belief that music is a deeply personal art form with the power to enrich lives. I create a supportive environment tailored to each student's learning style, fostering a strong foundation in technique while nurturing creativity and a love for music. I aim to inspire students to reach their full potential and derive joy from their musical journey through patient guidance and encouragement.

Welcome to my music tutoring profile! I am an experienced piano teacher who is passionate about sharing my love for music with students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're an absolute beginner or an advanced musician, I am here to help you unlock your musical potential. With a deep appreciation for all genres of music, I particularly have a soft spot for jazz and classical music. These genres have shaped my own musical journey and have allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of music theory, improvisation, and composition. I aim to instill the same appreciation and enthusiasm for these genres in my students, while also exploring other styles according to their interests. As a seasoned performer, I bring a wealth of practical knowledge and performance techniques to my teaching. I understand the challenges and joys of live performances, and I incorporate this experience into my lessons. I am also a firm believer in the power of education and self-directed learning. I encourage my students to explore their musical interests, set personal goals, and develop their own unique musical voice. When it comes to teaching, my style is enthusiastic, fast-paced, and varied. I believe that a dynamic and engaging approach fosters a love for music and accelerates the learning process. I utilise the Paul Harris simultaneous learning method, which integrates multiple aspects of music learning, such as technique, theory, sight-reading, and ear training, simultaneously. This holistic approach ensures that students develop a well-rounded understanding of music and are really able to see their progress in each practice session. The first lesson, which lasts 45 minutes, is completely free and comes with no obligation to continue. This allows potential students to get a feel for my teaching style and determine if it aligns with their learning preferences. For the convenience of my students, I am more than willing to travel to their location in Southwater and the surrounding areas. I believe that learning in a familiar and comfortable environment can enhance the overall experience and facilitate better progress. Let's explore the world of music together and unlock your full potential. Get in touch today to schedule your free introductory lesson!

Dominique is a recent Master's graduate from the Royal College of Music and has teaching experience of over five years. In line with her passion for sharing music, she believes that anyone can succeed at learning to play an instrument with the right support and environment. Using some elements of the Suzuki method, such as listening, imitation, and memorisation, and combining these with note-reading, rhythm, and musicianship skills (playing alongside other musicians/recording), Dominique can see her pupils make significant progress in each lesson. Because playing an instrument is physically challenging, it is essential to spend a constant amount of personal time for practice between lessons, which Dominique recognizes from her own experience as demanding. This is why, in each lesson, she discusses and makes a plan with her pupil regarding the practice structure, as well as being available for any questions during the week, on the phone and via email.

Education always was the main part of my life. I started my teaching career at the age of nineteen years old and still doing this job for more than 5 years already. My main skills are next: have the ability to communicate complex information in a simple and entertaining manner, know how to be a team player and resolve problems professionally.
In Ukraine i used to be a part of music group which was quite popular due to the fact that our music was broadcasted on Ukrainian radio. Also we were filming video clips and recording new music non stop.
In the UK I often arrange piano recitals and collect money for Ukraine. I was playing in Guildford, Shere and London during this year. So, I can teach you not only how to play the piano, but also how to perform and represent yourself professionally.
