Wether I'm teaching young learners their ABCs, Junior High School Students their IGCSE ESL, or even turoring older students how to ace their IELTS, I'm your man!
Along with that I can help 17/18+ students by proof reading university letters of application.
Additionally I am perfectly comfortable helping adult learners with their pronunciation, grammar, or whatever it is they require of me. And on the subject of adult learners; academically, I have considerable experience teaching IELTS and am happy to oblige wherever I'm needed.
In terms of pedagogy, I prefer an enjoyable yet productive, student-centred approach. All lessons will be tailored to the student's learning style. There will be absolutely NO boring lectures!
As regards my fees, I offer competitive rates and the first lesson is free.
Also, if you need to contact me, please do use WhatsApp - I am not generally abl to check my Tutor Extra (or indeed, my Gmail) account every day.
Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi!
My name is Sheona B. and I am a Primary School Teacher with over 12 years experience in classrooms and tutoring individuals outside of school.
I have taught children from Nursery age to Year Six and I have always ensured that I plan and deliver lessons that not only meet the child's needs, but are also fun, interactive and engaging! I work hard to ensure that the children I teach can thrive and achieve!

I would be more then happy to offer a free trial session, so that I can get to know the student and find out exactly what it is they enjoy and what they need support with.
I hope to hear from you soon

I am a passionate and experienced English tutor dedicated to helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds improve their language skills. With a deep love for the English language and a commitment to fostering a positive and effective learning environment, I take pride in empowering my students to achieve their language learning goals. My teaching philosophy is built on the belief that learning should be engaging, tailored to individual needs, and focused on practical application. I combine structured lessons with interactive and real-world scenarios to ensure that my students not only grasp the fundamentals of English but also develop the confidence to use the language effectively. I have strong communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles of students. I am fluent in Hindi as well so if any explanation is required to a native hindi speaker about concepts in English then I can help with that as well. My lessons are tailored to each student's unique needs and goals, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where questions and mistakes are welcomed as opportunities for growth.

As your tutor, I believe in infusing our study sessions with a healthy dose of fun and enthusiasm. I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students feel excited to explore new concepts and motivated to achieve their academic goals.
One of the keys to effective tutoring is customization. I take the time to understand your individual strengths, weaknesses, and interests, crafting personalized lesson plans that cater specifically to your needs. Whether you're a visual learner who thrives on colorful diagrams and mind maps or a hands-on learner who loves to experiment and explore, I've got you covered.
Learning isn't just about mastering facts and figures; it's about making meaningful connections and fostering a deeper understanding of the world around us. That's why I'm passionate about incorporating real-life examples and practical applications into our lessons. Whether we're exploring the wonders of science, unraveling the mysteries of mathematics, or diving into the complexities of literature, I'll show you how to apply your newfound knowledge in meaningful and exciting ways.
Of course, no adventure is complete without a few challenges along the way. But don't worry; I'll be there every step of the journey, offering guidance, encouragement, and support whenever you need it. Together, we'll tackle difficult concepts, overcome obstacles, and celebrate victories, big and small.
On top of academic success; it's about building confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. Through our fun and interactive tutoring sessions, you'll not only master the subject matter but also develop essential skills that will serve you well in school, in your career, and beyond.
