My name is Christine Borg. I grew up in a small island where my education led me to a Bachelor’s degree in General Medical Studies. However, the artistic fibre in me eventually took me to London to study Drama and in 2017, I graduated with a Master’s degree from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.
I returned to my family and pursued my other life interests: dogs, target shooting, and SCUBA diving amongst other things. I had to earn a living besides trying to put into practice my Acting career. I managed to balance work and getting some experience in Theatre, TV, film, Radio voice overs and singing.
The best balance of work and satisfaction came through teaching but, after Summer 2019 my life brought me back to the UK, where I now live. I took the first good job that came along, solely to earn my living.
However, I want my work be worthwhile besides being my financial income. Satisfaction in my job is of the utmost importance to me, and I believe I can achieve this through teaching.
My qualifications allow me to teach English to students form 3-year-olds to adults, GCSE level Chemistry, Biology and Physics and Science to 8 to 16-year-old students.
As I wish to continue teaching Online, I use all my experience from my TEFL qualifications and Drama school days to improvise and make my lessons as interactive and as interesting as possible. In English classes, in particular, I can help the students with their pronunciation and conversation by giving them confidence in themselves. I try to apply a positive outlook in whatever I am teaching. Engaging with the student is the basis for learning.

I am a qualified Science teacher with experience of teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics to GCSE & Biology to A-level. I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Hons degree in Medical Biochemistry and then went on to complete a PhD in Biochemistry. I then completed a PGCE in 1997. I am currently working as head of Science at an online learning provider where lessons are taught live online to students who are unable to attend school for various reasons.
I have experience of teaching Science to students of differing abilities and also have experience of teaching science to students with a variety of special education needs including a student with visual impairment. I enjoy the challenge of finding ways of helping students to learn in a way that is accessible to them. I include a range of learning styles in my teaching and will provide sessions tailored to the needs of the individual student.

Hey there 👋 ! I'm Nikita S., and I'm not your typical tutor. I hold not one but two master's degrees in Microbiology and have a rock-solid foundation with my bachelor's degree, so trust me when I say I know my stuff when it comes to Biology, Microbiology, and Anatomy & Physiology.
But here's the thing – learning doesn't have to be boring! I'm all about making our lessons a blast. Picture this: you and me, diving into the fascinating world of cells, microbes, and the human body, all while sharing a good laugh or two. Learning with me isn't just about acing exams; it's about genuinely enjoying the journey.
I'm super flexible with how we can meet. Whether it's online, at your place, or even at a cozy cafe, I'm up for it. I want your learning experience to be as comfortable as possible.
So, if you're ready to dive into the world of Biology and Microbiology (with a side of laughter), hit me up! Let's make your learning experience not only educational but insanely fun. 📚🔬😄
