Currently I work as a research associate for the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the Oxford University Hospital Trust (NHS). I am about to start a second degree in Medicine at Cardiff University in September. I've worked both with several companies and privately for the past 5 years tutoring students for Oxbridge admissions, Psychology, Latin/Ancient Greek and admissions aptitude testing (Oxford, Cambridge, UCAT). I am a PhD candidate at the University of St Andrews currently conducting research on 20th century German history. I have tutored on a volunteer basis at several points in my life and have also participated in a variety of "buddy" schemes designed to help aclimatise young adults and students to their new school/university environments. I have always loved teaching and hope to pursue a career in education in the long term. I understand the value of a tailored approach to education and the importance of creating a positive and constructive working environment. My classes are thus personalized to the individual interests and needs of my students. In me you will find an friendly, patient, and understanding tutor, eager to help develop the knowledge and skills necessary for my students to excell in their education.
I am fluent in German and French (in addition to English) and understand written Danish and Dutch.
