I am a maths teacher in a popular school in the UK with an MSc in Engineering, and experience in teaching secondary and primary students over physical and online settings.
I believe in student-centered maths learning with independence. I already have experience in assessing students' onboarding and selecting the support plans at ''Global Edtech''. Moreover, I have also worked on SENs (dyslexia, dyscalculia, autism) students that will support this role. I always encourage my students to have a conceptual understanding over the procedural understanding, this would definitely encourage students for their effort, and hence each student will get their own motivation, thus having room for development as well. Having learned different pedagogies of maths learning, I believe I would be a good fit with the strong maths understanding and the experience.

I am able to work in the student’s home subject to mutual availability, I have also tutored very succesfully online for over 6years both nationally in the UK and internationally with a variety of students. Hello, my name is Anna! I am a graduate from the University of Cambridge with an MSci in Natural Sciences (I specialised in Chemistry, and my masters was in Surface Science).
I am passionate about teaching science and maths, as from experience, I have found some explanations of concepts hard to grasp due to specific terminology and/or notations. However, I also believe that with the right explanation, anyone can understand scientific concepts, no matter how complex they first appear.
I am a flexible, student led tutor - I am happy to be approached with a specific topic for a one off session, or run more generic revision sessions to help you feel prepared for your assessments!

I love teaching and seeing where children come from and get too. They are like sponges and soak everything up. I am appreciative of different learning styles and adapt to them as required. Hello and welcome to Connect Maths Tutor. I am Viviane D. and a qualified Secondary Maths teacher of 14 years. I have considerable experience in supporting students across KS3 and preparing students to sit KS4 Maths GCSE 9-1 specification Higher/foundation.
Having acquired substantial experience of working with a significant range of students and abilities, I understand fully the barriers to learning in Maths. I can therefore advise on areas where common misconceptions occur, showing alternative methods to answer popular topics and advise on exam techniques.
