I have a great deal of experience as a tutor. I have been working at one of the UK's leading Grammar Schools for the past four years. I tutor maths GCSE and A level online. I have also conducted numerous online webinars/ webclasses and drop-in sessions for students across the country for A Level maths. I love to make maths engaging. My instagram and YouTube accounts (Mark-a-minute maths) has had a wide following from students and I consistently post short 1 minute videos for students to get snappy, bitesize reviews of topics and model answers to exam questions.

My name is Sri and I am extremely passionate about connecting with students and helping them excel in the subject of Mathematics. Throughout my academic journey and tutoring experiences, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of a skilled educator. As a tutor, my primary goal is to foster a positive and comfortable learning atmosphere where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore concepts, and develop their problem-solving abilities with confidence. I have successfully completed Mathematics with a 95% and have a strong foundation in the subject. As a tutor, my ultimate aspiration is to instill a lifelong love for mathematics in my students and equip them with the skills they need to succeed academically and www.*** it's helping a primary student grasp the fundamentals of arithmetic or guiding a secondary student through advanced algebra, I am dedicated to ensuring that every student reaches their full potential. In addition to my teaching skills, I am a patient, empathetic, and approachable individual. I understand the importance of building a strong rapport with my students to establish trust and open communication. This, in turn, enables me to provide constructive feedback and celebrate their progress and achievements. Looking forward to the opportunity to contribute to the academic success of your students.

I am a qualified primary school teacher with over 16 years of experience in education and over six years experience Tutoring. I offer bespoke sessions that are tailored to meet the individuals needs. I have lots of experience working with children with SEND and have a particular passion for early years and inclusion.
I plan, prepare and deliver sessions that are fun and engaging in order to support the development of all areas learning within the primary curriculum. For younger children and those with SEND I often find that their focus is better if a session incorporates some physical activity and frequently build learning through games in for these children.

ABOUT TUITION AND I:
Methods of Teaching:
The vast majority of my tuition is learner led, meaning that each lesson evolves organically. Adhering to rigid lesson plans assumes a preconception of how to teach a certain topic to a learner. However, every learner is unique and should be treated as such, and so every lesson also needs to be unique.
At B. Tuition, it is about finding whatever works for your child. For example, if your child is competent with methods but struggles significantly with confidence we can work on a particular topic before it is taught in the classroom. That way the content of every lesson she walks into is already comprehended and ready for application, and she can then use the lesson to practise and reinforce. This builds her confidence. Lessons cease to be a worry and she can enjoy the www.***
With different learners it may be more beneficial to reinforce and consolidate work that has been taught in class. If your child is sitting exams within the next 6-9 months, it would be more valuable to review and work through past exam papers, identifying where marks were dropped, evaluating why and re-teach relevant topics. Past papers would, of course, be set for homework by me.
Why tuition is so necessary:
One contemporary issue of the education system is that although many secondary teachers are talented in the subjects they teach, they do not appreciate the struggle that some of us face if a subject does not come naturally. I have spent years honing my craft into making complex secondary maths and science and achievable for everyone.
Since 2011, I have been able to change the lives of hundreds of students, facilitating them in attaining their educational goals. If you are in need of private tuition, please give me a call and we can talk a little more about your specific requirments and how I can be of service.
A little more about me:
I have been tutoring since 2011, beginning as a teaching assistant for Kip McGrath Chelmsford South and progressing on to be a tutor at Kip McGrath Shenfield. My degree; Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies, Upper II with Honours 2014 has allowed me to access the knowledge and understanding of learning and child psychology that is implemented in every lesson. Since then, I have worked as a secondary supply teacher, Kip McGrath tutor, private tutor, SENCo, ENCo, intervention specialist, behavioural consultant and a classroom teacher. References available on request.
Safeguarding Policy:
All lessons are to be conducted in a family room, with the door open at all times. A responsible adult needs to be at home throughout the entire duration of the lesson and within earshot. This is for mutual safety and security.
I have an Enhanced DBS check, registered with the update service and happy to give my consent and certificate number to any parent to check the status of my DBS online as a certificate is only as good as the day it's printed.
Mileage is calculate at £1 per mile over 5 miles from Flitch Green. So if you live in the centre of Braintree, it's www.*** miles from Flitch Green so my rate would £45 for tuition and £4 totallying £49 for the hour.
Thank you for reading and I'll look forward to hearing from you soon!

I am grateful for checking out my profile. Mathematics is one of the subjects I enjoy tutoring. I am committed to helping students whichever way I can. At high school, I was very good in Mathematics namely A-level, further Maths etc. I studied Actuarial Science in my first degree which entails Maths, finance, statistics, insurance and some computer modules. I have experience in formal tutoring for many years years. I tutored some of my classmates and other students. Currently, I am studying a Masters’ degree in Actuarial Science at Heriot-Watt University. Topics such statistics, probability, calculus, algebra etc. are all quite easier for me to teach. I enjoyed from my previous tutoring experience since it helped students achieve their goals. Maths seems difficult since it takes a lot of time and energy. Many people are not able to keep up the pace with Maths lesson and thereby fall behind. Foundation is the key, without the right one students pursuing more complex concepts are doomed to face difficulties at some point. I encourage my students and assure them that there is still a chance. I take my time to discuss issues with my students concerning subject areas. It will enable me to know the appropriate learning style to use. It will also help me know the way they think and learn.
