Are you worried about your child falling behind in maths? Are they concerned about not being able to reach their target grade? Do you want them to get off to a flying start come September? Then 1:1 tutoring is the answer.
Being involved in education for 10+ years, I have supported many students (children and adults), make tremendous progress in their studies and even exceed their target grade.
I am conversant with both AQA and Edexcel boards, and remote teaching via zoom and MS Teams.
No minimum sessions required and for your peace of mind, the first session is always free!
Limited slots are now available. For more info, drop me a message.

I'm an acting coach and theatre director based in Salisbury with over 15 years experience in theatre. I have trained in the UK and USA (Bristol Old Vic, CSSD and Actors Temple London) (SITI Company New York and The Acting Corps LA).
I love working with actors, exploring scripts and developing characters. Having initially trained as an actor, I have a great respect for the process. I have been working with pre-professional actors for around 10 years and supported many on successful application to drama school.
My training lies in Michael Chekhov, Meisner, Viewpoints and Suzuki and have a physical approach to text (Stella Adler). I bring a range of skills and approaches to the text, that can help unlock scenes, and support you on your journey. However, as a director and teacher I am able to adapt to the individual needs of the actor.

Basic Maths, Reading, and Writing lessons in Southampton, UK.
I have over 7 years experience in teaching the primary age range in the state education sector.
I am extremely knowledgeable on the National curriculum and in planning, delivering and assessing your child's ability. I will take an initial assessment to see where they are in their learning - their strengths and areas they need to develop and create a personalised program for them to progress at that right speed for them as an individual.
I have used many different programs in my career such as Mastery maths, White Rose maths, FFT phonics and Little Wandle as well as creating my own activities
I enjoy making lessons creative and with real life contexts so that the children can see the purpose for their learning ready for when they enter the adult world. I like to keep the lessons at a good pace to maximise their concentration and focus. A good light hearted sense of humor with positive encouragement is the approach I find works best for when I tutor to provide the child with self-esteem and confidence in themselves.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi - I'm Nic S. and I've dedicated most of my life to music. If you're passionate about music, I'd really love to help you improve your skills, and develop your creativity. My first instrument (Which I've studied to degree level) is guitar, and I consider this instrument my 'Home base'. Music is more than just 'playing guitar' though, so I'm also open to teaching music theory, composition, songwriting, production, engineering as well as mixing and mastering. I don't work to a curriculum, and I don't teach grades (Unless it's what a student wants). Whatever you're struggling with is what we'll focus on, and the music that excites you is the music we'll be learning about! I'm here to teach you, for you. Despite having an academic background, I really feel like music is for everyone, and whatever helps you achieve your goals matters more to me than if you know 'standard theory' or things like that. Feel free to get in touch and we can set up a call where I can get to know your musical interests and needs, and you can decide if you'd think I'd be a good tutor for you! :)
