I am a professional instructor of martial arts with decades of experience and a creator of program Dancefight.
I could run for your school a workshop or a regular after school class. I have a two programs which could be interesting for you: 1. Systema is a non-violent, liquid martial arts system based on being relaxed and flowing. It encourages sensitivity and deep understanding of body-mechanics rather than a ‘hard’ approach. I focus on conflict management and especially stress control which can be helpful in a learning environment. The children tend to gain in self-confidence and fitness which tends to lead to other learning benefits and respect.
2. Dancefight synergizes two ancient arts of movement: Dance and Martial Arts. It focus’ on the build up a responsive vital body, which is able to flow. It aims on developing our sensitivity to react on others and feel the flow of kinetic energy (bodywave). This wave naturally breaks down crystalised tissue and makes our bodies smoother and easier to move.
Keeping our bodies liquid out of our comfort zone improves your vitality, sharpens your mind and body.
Knowledge and experience of coping in stressful situations is helpful to pupils not just in conflict situations, but in playing sports, dancing, learning or any stressful situation.

My teaching experience is based on my friends. I have not been practising it outside my inner circle, but there is always a place to grow. I have an IB diploma certificate that can prove my efficiency level in the English language and a certificate from a Ukrainian school supporting my high level of knowledge in my native language.

My online sessions are engaging, lively and purposeful. I aim to make students feel at ease; I am an experienced classroom teacher of both girls and boys and a parent of a 9 year old so know how to make learning as 'pain-free' as possible. I have experience with students of all abilities and can adapt my delivery and resources to suit your needs.
An experienced GCSE examiner, I know exactly how to tackle each question for the English Lang and Lit examinations. I have successfully prepared A-Level students to sit (and achieve an interview in) the Oxbridge ELAT test and my A-Level Literature, Language and Literature students have all achieved their target grades or higher. I am currently working in a school therefore, my availability is online only, after school and weekends. I am very happy to negotiate a timetable, or paired tutoring sessions so students can work on their English with a friend.
I usually use GoogleMeet but am happy to use Zoom.
I'm very happy to meet for a quick chat where we can discuss your individual learning needs and so you can get a feel for the sort of teacher-tutor I am. I also offer a first 20 minute 'taster' lesson free. Please email me directly annielouisebrown at gmail dot com

My name is Holly and I'm an 18 year old tutor currently on a gap year!
Although I do not have any experience tutoring I have work experience in nurseries and helping run a youth club and have a strong passion for teaching children of all ages.
I will create a relaxed session, aiming to allow students to feel comfortable to ask questions and ensure they feel more confident in the subject. I will adapt my teaching style depending on the client as I understand that everyone learns differently, whether this be incorporating interactive techniques such as whiteboards or reading and writing techniques.
I have knowledge of Primary, GCSE and A Level curriculums with a mixture of exam boards.
I am hoping to gain experience in tutoring in order to prepare for a teaching career in the future. Teaching has always been my dream and is truly what I love.

An enthusiastic and experienced KS2, KS3 and KS4 maths teacher with a solid academic experience, offers maths lesson. First lesson free!
My studies and work experience, both in Italy and in the UK, equipped me with a solid subject knowledge in Mathematics and sciences and how to teach them effectively.
After 6 years of teaching experience (incuding online live lessons) in national schools and colleges, I am keen on implementing my career and developing a successful career as Maths online tutor.
In my recent experience, I have been tutoring a group of pupils since year 7 pupils preparing actions plans and individual teaching plans when required, arranged sessions for the UKMT Maths challenge, wrote references to colleges for year 11 pupils, arranged maths intervention to contribute to raise department achievements and was involved in schools’ extra curricula sport and music events.
My educational philosophy encompasses a series of key points as follows:
1) Students need to learn as much as they need food, clothing and shelter. An educator’s job is to fill that primal need for learning by creating engaging and relevant learning experiences every day.
2) Teachers should treat students as active participants in the learning process.
3) Be strongly aligned with student-centred learning involving exploration, discovery, experiential learning, and the production of high quality work.
4) Students need oral and written feedback to improve. Teachers need to gather data on student performance to adjust the learning environment and instruction so that they can target students' learning needs. Teachers administer pre-tests to find a starting point for learning and post-tests to determine the students' increase in performance level as well as the teachers' effectiveness.
5) Students need structure and appropriate repetition to learn. A teacher should be able to organize a standards-based lesson sequence, successfully implement the plan, and then evaluate student learning.
6) Be able to create an exciting learning environment that makes it difficult for students not to learn. A teacher should know how to include all students in learning at their own level, and a teacher should be able to inspire the students to push themselves to the next level.
7) Students need tools and resources. They should have skills and strategies to be able to work effectively in the different levels of the cognitive domain as defined by Benjamin Bloom. Students should also be aware of their own learning preferences, and teachers should assist with creating a plan to develop other learning skills.
8) A teacher has to be prepared to adopt multiple roles in the classroom (facilitator, teacher, instructor, coach, consultant, counsellor, and mentor) as well as a proper use of the Teaching Assistant.
9) Being genuine and modelling trust can significantly help establish a successful learning environment and maintain a collaborative climate in the classroom.
10) A good teacher needs an excellent subject knowledge and a high willingness to push himself to a higher confidence.

Hi there!
I am a qualified English Literature and Language teacher and Teach First ambassador, specialising in secondary schools (years 7-13), since 2012, and prep schools (years 4-8) since 2018. I also teach mathematics up to and including Upper KS2: Long Division, Common Factors, Common Multiples, Prime Numbers, Mental Calculations, Square and Cube Numbers and more for that Key Stage.
I have been tutoring one-to-one since 2015 and found, since the 2020 lockdown, that tutoring online can be just as beneficial if not better for several reasons: no travel for either party; shared resources online rather than requiring a printer, therefore saving paper; allowance for different ways of communicating rather than just speech - for example, silent discussions through typed notes that can be edited, saved and stored immediately - which is especially beneficial for students with speech impairments or those who communicate better through writing.
I have been working for a home-education group in the woods near to where I live since September 2019 and have continued to learn and explore the importance of creativity, immersion in a task and a level of autonomy on a student's learning path. I aim to reproduce what I have learnt in my years of experience to offer online tutoring lessons for both individuals and groups.
My experience spans from working in one of the most poverty-stricken provinces in Buenos Aires in 2010 as an English tutor for disadvantaged children, to working as the private tutor for my school's Sheikh's son in Qatar during my three years working in a British international school out there. (2015-2018.) I am interested in all people from all walks of life and all educational backgrounds.
If you think I could help you / your child in their education, please get in touch. I am also a writer and assistant reader for Firewords magazine in my spare time. My subject is my life.
Please contact me directly at ***@*** for a free first lesson! I look forward to hearing from you.

I am a fully qualified teacher and I previously taught in secondary schools in Brighton. For the last ten years I've worked solely as a full time tutor. I do tuition in schools, for local authority agencies and I also do private tuition. As I work solely as a maths tutor I have refined my teaching style, resources and approach over the years to provide a service that always gets positive feedback.
My aim as a tutor is firstly to re-engage my tutees so they gain confidence and a level of understanding that will help them to succeed in class at school. I feel that is important as they will see their class teacher a lot more than they will me.
On my first lesson I always give each student a folder filled with printed resources and an exercise book for us to work in. I also recommend the best websites and apps for them to use (there are so many it is hard to know which are any good). I can also share resources and exam papers electronically with my students and parents.
