I am a hard-working responsible and innovative graduate with a first class honours degree in education studies my degree specialisms have given me a very clear understanding of how children learn and appropriate teaching methods as an experienced grade 6 teaching assistant I have experience working with children in primary school settings and have worked as a variety of schools in England across the foundation key stage one and Key stage two as well as with children with sen including dyslexia and dysgraphia autism and EAL where I also believe my studies have enabled me to give appropriate and meaningful support my specialism is literacy and have devised and renewals intervention programs end up supporting and supplementing existing teaching.
My interventions are designed to progress students learning and I implement work programs to individuals and groups in a range of classroom settings. this could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas to encourage students to become independent learners.
I will assess the needs of children and use specialist skills, training and experience to support children. I will establish a productive working relationships with children, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
I will support children consistently, whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs.
I will support the role of parents in students' learning and provide constructive feedback on student progress, achievement and behaviour whilst maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality at all times
I will foster and maintain constructive and supportive relationship with parents/carers, exchanging appropriate information; facilitating their support for the child's attendance and access and learning and supporting home to school links.
