Hi, I'm Mike, a North London-based Music Technology & Music Production tutor! I have over 7 years experience of teaching Music Technology & Production subjects in Secondary and Further Education, as well as weekend-based extra-curricular 'workshop' programmes. I''ve also spent the last 10 years working as a producer, remixer and DJ in the Dance music industry.
Needless to say, music is a huge passion of mine and I love to share it with other like-minded individuals, regardless of age or ability level. I always strive to contextualize and tailor my teaching to any specific interests of the individual-you! Music is a hugely personal pursuit and I want you to feel like you're developing in the areas, skills and/or musical styles that interest you. I like to keep my lessons active, fast-moving and real world-based, as I believe this inspires a more productive end result. Music Technology is an inclusive and accessible subject so I'll always 'scaffold' my lessons to ensure that any potential learning barriers are removed for you, and to ensure that you get the most from a lesson!
I have a breadth of experience in teaching Music Technology subjects at AS/ A-Level in-line with the Pearson Edexcel curriculums, as well as BTEC & Rock School Levels 1, 2, and 3. I've also taught GCSE Music in-line with the Edexcel, AQA and OCR syllabus', so I'm happy to help you with any production or DJ technology-based areas of your GCSE studies.

Releasing music independently Jesse has performed with MOBO award winning artist Guvna B on his tour. Jesse has also appeared on Reprezent Radio & Subtle FM. Jesse also received live airtime across the BBC Television network for his single "Back On Drill".
Jesse recently appeared on Capital Kings' first single after a long hiatus titled "Higher" where Jesse demonstrates his versatility on an electronic house record. Jesse's main genres are Rap/RnB, however Jesse continues to demonstrate his versatility and won't be defined by a box as he is a classically trained musician always seeking out where the music will take him.
Hi - I'm Nic S. and I've dedicated most of my life to music. If you're passionate about music, I'd really love to help you improve your skills, and develop your creativity. My first instrument (Which I've studied to degree level) is guitar, and I consider this instrument my 'Home base'. Music is more than just 'playing guitar' though, so I'm also open to teaching music theory, composition, songwriting, production, engineering as well as mixing and mastering. I don't work to a curriculum, and I don't teach grades (Unless it's what a student wants). Whatever you're struggling with is what we'll focus on, and the music that excites you is the music we'll be learning about! I'm here to teach you, for you. Despite having an academic background, I really feel like music is for everyone, and whatever helps you achieve your goals matters more to me than if you know 'standard theory' or things like that.
