Mario R. started his musical journey at the age of 9 and was inspired by his father and a friend from school to take up the piano. He took private lessons in Piano, Music Theory and Harmony for 6 years and continued his studies in several music schools such as Professional Musician Institute, Lino Liviabella, Bettino Padovano across Italy. Throughout his musical career, Mario’s most influential teachers have been Massimo Morganti, Giuseppe Continenza, Gary Willis, Gabriele Pesaresi, Phil Peskett, Simon Purcell, Steve Watts, Andrea Solarino, Paul Westwood and more.
Mario attended Arcevia Jazz Feast Summer Camp from 2008 to 2013 which led to masterclasses in Improvisation, Music Harmony, Composition, Arrangement, Bass Technique, Ear Training with some of the biggest artists and composers in the world music scene that included George Garzone, Bob Brookmeyer, Ayn Inserto, Scott Henderson, Gary Willis, John Stowell, Bob Mintzer, Dave Holland, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Scott Henderson and more. In 1990, Mario began studying bass guitar and playing also piano and keyboard in several bands.
Since 1997, Mario has been teaching music privately in schools while working as a professional musician in several Italian and UK bands. His musical expertise as a performer and teacher spans genres from Rock, Blues, Funk, Jazz, Latin and Electronic music.
In 2013 he moved to London where he is now based and completed his Bachelor's degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and specialised in Jazz Performance and Composition.
Mario is currently teaching Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele and Music Theory (including ABRSM Grades), Harmony and Improvisation to students of all levels and ages in London as well as students worldwide via online platforms.

My name is Pouneh. I'm a guitarist, film composer, and music teacher :) I graduated with a Master's and a bachelor's degree in "Classical Guitar Performance" and "Music Composition". I have been teaching music for more than twenty years. I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals and try to make the learning experience as fun and enjoyable as possible.
I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Performing classical Guitar from the University of Tehran and also I earned a Master's degree in Composition for Film and Media from Pulse College Dublin.

Now I do all my lessons on line , either by Skype , Zoom or any other equivalent .It is cheaper for the pupil, no travelling, so no fuel used, and easier all round as the timings can be changed easily on either side, to suit any sudden problems.
I teach reading music as a given , right from the beginning. Either classical or acoustic but no specific styles, i. e. country, folk , blues etc. No, I will teach you to play properly with tutor books and additional material and with the knowledge gained you will eventually be able to play in whatever style suits you, but I will not teach a style at the lesson.
Having 60 books of guitar music published in 5 different publishers , and having played, arranged, transcribed and written all forms of guitar music since my teens , I am uniquely equipped to teach anyone whether a beginner, or an advanced player or any level in between.
I am often asked to transcribe unpublished classical guitar recordings onto sheet music which I will do happily for a fee, should anyone be interested.

I have been teaching guitar and music theory for over a decade, as well as being an active professional musician. It’s not all about results, but for students looking to take grade exams I offer Rock School, RGT, LCM, ABRSM and Trinity College exam boards. I have a proven track record of success, with over 95% of students achieving a Distinction, and 100% achieiving Merit or higher. I can also support students with GCSE and A-Level studies in Music.

I teach to all ages, up to Grade 8 on the Drums, Grade 4 on the Guitar and on the Piano I will teach to a high standard, but not through the grading system as I only teach basic level sight reading for Piano.
I have taught many students over the years at varying ages and skill levels, and all have come out more passionate and more improved at there instrument.
My students have all mentioned how they find there lessons thoroughly productive and enjoyable, finding themselves increasingly motivated to play after having lessons with me. (see references at the bottom)
In my lessons I will take the students up through the Grades (ONLY for Drums and Guitar), via Rockschool, teaching them everything they need from technique, learning how to sight read, developing improvisation skills, playing in many different genres of music, and how to play by ear. I will also cover how to complement the music you are playing to and how to serve the music. As well as developing musicianship skills and how to have the right attitude in the music business.
- on the Piano I will teach to a high standard, going through everything listed above, as well as scales, arpeggios, inversions, learning classical and contemporary pieces, and basic level sight reading, but NOT grades unfortunately.

Hi - I'm Nic S. and I've dedicated most of my life to music. If you're passionate about music, I'd really love to help you improve your skills, and develop your creativity. My first instrument (Which I've studied to degree level) is guitar, and I consider this instrument my 'Home base'. Music is more than just 'playing guitar' though, so I'm also open to teaching music theory, composition, songwriting, production, engineering as well as mixing and mastering. I don't work to a curriculum, and I don't teach grades (Unless it's what a student wants). Whatever you're struggling with is what we'll focus on, and the music that excites you is the music we'll be learning about! I'm here to teach you, for you. Joss was born in the small seaside fishing town of Oban on the north west coast of Scotland and moved to Glasgow at an early age. It was in Glasgow where Joss started to take an interest in jazz, becoming involved with jazz workshops and big band at the Glasgow Arts Centre and performing with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Scotland (NYJOS).
Aged seventeen Joss moved to London to study jazz at university. He was taught harmony and theory by Pete Churchill (Jazz Education award 2007) and Nikki Iles (Jazz Education award nominee 2007 & 2009) and had guitar tuition under the guidance of multi-instrumentalist Stuart Hall and Phil Robson (Winner of 'Best Jazz musician of the Year' 2009). Joss also developed his performing skills with tuition by founding members of Loose Tubes - Eddie Parker and jazz educator - trumpeter Chris Batchelor.
After graduating with an honours degree in Jazz (BA Music Jazz Studies) Joss stayed in London for several years working professionally before studying for a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and moving to Devon where he still resides. I'm a professional Music lecturer and tutor, Guitar teacher and Bass tutor based in the West Midlands. As a Music tutor/instrumental tutor I have 1000+ hours of teaching experience, I hold a Popular Music Degree and in a College employment setting I have 14+ years experience of teaching college students from ages 16+ to adults in a range of levels (1-5).

Ultimately I teach the student to teach themselves by understanding core musical concepts and developing a base of fundamental skills, these include; Ear Training - learning how to recognise the chords in any given song by ear; Strumming and Picking/Fingerpicking Technique - fluency with all standard right hand techniques is a must, and I teach these prioritising what is commonly used in their favourite styles; Reading TAB as well as Staff notation.
Creative Playing, Song Writing, and Improvising is my favourite area of playing and teaching as it helps learners find their own voice! I help to build knowledge of music theory in a practical and applicable way, exploring new concepts that will enable students to discover new sounds.
Again, this is catered to their aims - if they wish to write songs we'll look at some of their favourite artists/genres, see what they're doing, and set some aims for targets to write using some of their techniques.
If learners want to improvise, we'll explore some of our favourite improvisers - what scales to they use, how do they shape their phrases, and what articulation techniques are employed.
If learners have experience playing but need to improve techniques I can show drills and exercises that will make them a better player.
We explore a lot of aspects - from how to move economically; where to have tension and where to avoid it; tonal possibilities as well as how to structure your practice so you get the most for your time, whether you have a little or a lot.
